Elmgreen Golf Club

Good course but it was too busy and too many people working at same time making lots of dust on some holes.

This is a nice course but the tee-time managing is really poor. This was the 2nd time we played here and the 2nd time That there was a queue on the 1st tee box. This caused delays and slow play on each tee box. Don't think Ill be booking a tee time on this course anytime soon.

Myself and a friend played a 2 ball in Elm Green on 28/04/2014. I thought the course was very well laid out with plenty of signage on direction to next Tee box, and other small things like that. The course was very well looked after, and the staff were very friendly.
Overall we had a very enjoyable day. Wish I could say more about the golf. A very nice course.

Nice course, interesting layout, good all round. The only negative thing I have to say are some pin positions where non conforming. Also the green had seen better days, there were several pitch marks. Also I've played from the white mark after a competition and I've found the last 6 holes pretty short. Part 4 of 336m. Apart from that a really nice day and a good pace of play.

The Pace of play was too slow to fully enjoy the game.

Decent course and playable in most conditions. Greens and fairways always good. Never brilliant

really nice course .but i will not play this course again 2nd week in a row playing here .have never experience such slow play .members playing competition more or less told us we should not be there! . on 15th 2 ball jump in front of 3ball ahead of us .this would not have been to bad if we had not been instructed to start on 13th due to frost!!! .our tee of time was 12;50 pm . NOT RECOMMENDED .

Not bad vaule we got it for €11each.cant go wrong .but durning summer early tee off and a breakfast is great vaule.lovely breakfast .an ya can ave it be4 or after your game..for€25..a couple nice long holes a few plain one's nice pair3s.

Friendly and welcoming staff and great course and excellent value for money

Course in very good nick as it's a public course. Only let down was previous golfers didn't repair pitch marks on greens. That's reflection on their ignorance and the course or its staff.

The course was well maintained and the fairways were in great condition. I have played some "marquee" courses over the summer months and the quality of the sand in these bunkers at Elm Green was way better than those. The greens were a little hairy in parts and the ball subsequently didn't run true at times. They also have some advertising for sandwiches that could be delivered at the 6th & 12th holes - a great idea!!The toughest part of the course lies between the 7th - 9th holes with the 8th being a great chance to birdie. If it lacked anything, there are no hole with a water challenge or feature to enhance what is great value for money. The people in the clubhouse are very friendly and it was no bother to add another player. After the round, we went in for a bite to eat, however the shutter was pulled down so we missed finishing a great deal off.

Have played this course on a number of occasions in the past few months and have enjoyed it every time I've played Course is excellent for learner golfers with some excellent and taxing holes

We were unfortunate to play behind a 5 ball ? . Yes a 5 ball (4 of which had clubs)
The greens were full of unrepaired plug marks and bunkers were not raked despite the fact that rakes were available on every green. It was a pity because the greens were in very good condition.

Average-Good course. Very dry & thin in areas due to recent good weather. Putting green poor and looks in very bad condition.

.Played this on Thursday, and really enjoyed it...It was a very fair course, greens possibly on the over quick side. It was a pretty full course with a small amount of waiting on most holes, but with the weather the way it is that's no surprise...The staff are really friendly, we were due to tee-off at 10:09, arrived at 10:00 and staff said we have time for breakfast if we like, lovely fresh cooked food...would definitely go again, they even have a breakfast special of a round of golf and full breakfast for 20 euro...great value..

The course is pleasent to play two difficult holes in particular the 16 otherwise enjoyable

Greens could do with a bit more care, a small bit slow. Overall a nice course though.

Very good reception staff, very efficient. One of our four ball was my 14 yr old son. He found the course very fair and challenging at the same time.
Myself and the other two players again found the course very fair and in great condition. Myself and my son have played Elmgreen on a number of occasions and always enjoy playing there. Would love to be able to afford the membership, maybe one day. Great value.

Green keeping staff as usual were busy keeping the whole course in pristine condition . The location is wonderful with easy access to and from the city and neighbouring areas .
A few pars gained which is always a great boost to the high handicaper .

There is not much water hazards in play. Fairways are not so wide but semi roughs are quite short, so it is not easy to loose a ball. The landscape is very nice and you can see mountains while playing.
