Some great challenging holes & the greens are fantastic

First time playing this course,it's a great course. We played with a low, medium & high handicap players & the course would suit everyone. Weather made holes that bit longer but that's the joys of winter golf in Ireland. Had a lot of rain the previous day & the course has great drainage so there was very little casual water, would play this course again when the weather improves, great value for the money we paid.

fantastic golf course

We were not able to use the air blower for cleaning after our round of golf ( switched off), but other than that, its all 5 out of 5. Would highly recommend to my friends.

"sandy" Lyle

Very modern frindly reception when you walk in, Course looks fantastic. It is a very open looking course but a hole or two in I was wondering was there aware this wasnt going to be easy!! very challenging similar to a links course in that if you get in trouble off the beaten track take my advice and drop one YOU WILL NEVER FIND IT !. These tight fairways plus the bunkers, the quantity which I have not seen since watching Saving Private Ryan, make this this un-assuming course a real challenge and will chew you up on a bad day. Overall excellent nice elevation changes well kept greens and although I was there in bad weather the drainage system is top notch, no swamps here.

You can`t go wrong playing this course it has an inland links feel too it kind of like the Monty course at Carton House open and treeless ticks all the boxes challenging value for money etc good mixture for long and short par 4`s big par 5`s too, would recommend this track as a must visit .

Nice course, very challenging!

Nice course to play. Every shot in the bag is tested, your course management is key, an iron or 3/5 wood off the tee is the shot for some of the par 4's to avoid bunker/tree trouble on others you can smash the driver, a lay up 2nd shot is best on the par 5's again to avoid trouble although longer hitters might think about risk/reward on the par 5's!! Greens are honest but again quite challenging, very few if any straight putts. In the rough you either have luck or you don't, ball can sit up but can also burry which requires a hack out. I look forward to playing here again, great value for money!!
