Executive course good for a quick 9
It’s a hybrid of golf and disc golf. Staff are friendly. Course condition is not country club for sure, especially the green during winter. If you want a quick and inexpensive 9 nearby, this is your choice. Friendly staff
Good value
The course conditions are a good value for the price. Staff and other golfers were friendly.
Terrible course and terrible staff
Staff harass the golfers and the cart we were given didn’t have brakes. Almost hit another person before I realized it had no brakes. Overall a terrible experience.
Sure it needs work, but it’s still fun
This is one of the only nine hole courses in the Houston area. The conditions of the course are pretty bad, with uneven and patchy greens and a fair amount of bald spots. However, the layout itself is great for beginners. It’s a short course that any experience golfer could birdie almost every hole. They’ve got a great beer selection in the clubhouse. It’s nice to have the disc golf course around. If you’re looking for a fancy course, don’t come here. If you’re looking for a pretty cheap way to practice your skills or learn the game, this place is perfect.
Bang for your Buck!
I am just starting to pick up golf again and I took two first timers (32Y.O. and 11Y.O.) We paid a total of $75 for 18 holes (they only have 9, you play twice), 2 carts, 1 club set rental and 6 drinks (4 alcohol). I found this course to be perfect for where we all are in getting our fundamentals. It is not a top end course at all but if your looking to keep or reestablish your fundamentals this is a great place to do that.
Not much good grass to hit off of in fairways, more like solid dirt but nice beginning 9 hole course
Great for beginners
Very short course, most par 4s are less than 250yds. Great place for new players learning the game.
It’s come a long way
I played here back in 2015 and then returned about two weeks ago with my son to teach him the rules of the game. Compared to 2015 I was delightfully impressed. There was a scramble getting ready to start sbout the time of my tee time but they were really quick. So decided to return with my son on Oct. 13, 22 and all was going well until we went to start playing two groups ahead of me these guys were so slow, so it set back the tee times by almost 20min. The group before us complained to the office and nothing was done to speed them up or allow the faster groups to past them. I understand this isn’t an expensive course but golf rules are rules and should be enforce. Not easy when only one person doing it all at the course. We finally very slowly began our game. If not for that experience I would have rated this day higher. Oh also our cart had no brakes , the young lady at the desk needs help, she’s good and pleasant but can’t be in all places by herself. But will go back again hopefully those slow players won’t be in front of us again. Course for what it is works great as a learning course and practice.
Exactly what you wiuld expect for the $$
This place is a good place to practice. Fairways were in terrible cindition but greens werent bad at all. Plus the super cheap beer prices helped a tin! Ill be back fornsure!!
Great for beginners; could use some work
This is one of the only nine holes courses in the Houston area. It certainly could use some more upkeep; the course conditions are questionable. The greens are slow, sandy, and unpredictable. However, it’s a great little layout and reasonable cost. $13-$18 for walking. Lots of beginners and folks just hacking around. Serious golfers could birdie every hole since they’re all wicked short. If you know what you’re getting into and don’t have high course expectations, then it’s a lot of fun. Good beer selection, too!
