links course
Loved the course. Was in great shape and arrived a bit early and was allowed to tee off a bit early, big plus. Course was damp from previous night’s rain but still was in great shape, greens were fantastic. Pace of play also a big plus. If you go for first time give yourself some extra time as it’s not easiest to find, just follow directions and you won’t have any problems. Staff was great . Had a great time !
Decent course.
Decent course, too pricey. Better courses for same or less around here. Course was pretty good. Fairways in decent shape. Greens were fairly small, expected bigger. Most were long oval multi-tiered greens. That’s the only part of “Links” that really fit. Approaches were challenging. Feel that the normal rates are about $15-20 too high for the course and area. If I lived closer would probably play more often. I think the stay and play packages make it worthwhile for people to come. To close for me for that, too far for regular play.
Always Awesome!!!
Great course as always. Great shape from tee to green.
It’s so nice
Everything about this course is top notch. Greens perfect, as were the fairways. Staff was great !! No better course around
Great place to play . Played in afternoon and it’s Texas ; it was hot . The course was in great shape and very challenging. Enjoyed it and I will be back .
Hot daze for hot course.
This course is always in good shape. Lots of good scenery, deer, water, birds, snakes, alligator and boats can be seen on any day.
Great Course
This is a fun track if you get the chance to play you will not regret it! Nice fairways and very good greens. I will for sure play again!!
Great course
Beautiful course with great play and staff.will come back.
Great price and good experience
this course is always in great shape, greens are a little slow.
Great place to play
Beautiful place that’s fun and challenging . Staff person at the front desk was helpful . Liked the fact that range balls were included with the round . I will definitely be back to play there again
Soooo! Nice
I played right after greens had been punched and sanded. It was still great. Ball rolled smooth. Rest of the course was perfect. I play here once per week and I have yet to find better staff, or course in east Texas! Everyone needs to play this course if they haven’t.
Best East Texas golf course
If you are looking for a hidden gem of a golf course in East Texas, Well you just found IT!!
I have lived over 40 years in Colorado( and they have some great courses), I have traveled and played some great courses( Torrey Pines, TPC Scottsdale, The Blue monster-Doral),The Links at Lands end ranks up there with them. Fantastic green, nice practice area. If you get a chance stop in the pro-shop and speak to Susan A. Johnson, one of the pro's there. Her knowledge of the course, and the way she makes you feel relaxed about playing the course, made for a great golfing experience. Can't wait to go back!!!!!!!
Fantastic course
There are several great golf opportunities in east Texas and this course is sure to be one of the best. I would have given them 5 stars but the course was so wet from all the rain this year that it has not been possible to keep up. All the tee boxes are long and hairy and the fairways have little to no roll out. When it is that wet it plays longer than the yardage numbers. The bunkers are crushed sand so they hold up a little better but are still wet and firm. The greens however are great. Not a bad spot on any green I could see. The layout and design is really superb. Many of the holes are really challenging and difficult, especially those that hug the shoreline of Lake Fork. It will take a few rounds to fully learn where to play it safe versus aggressive. It is certainly remote and tucked away but once you get there it is quite beautiful. Scattered homes along the course show you how the other half lives. Great course for a buddy trip and if you also fish and have a boat it can be a fantastic double duty getaway.
Challenging course.
This course is challenging but rewards good shotmaking. Water and/or sand come into play on most holes and the green were quick. Course in good shape considering all the rain this spring. Love to play this course as you have to play almost every club in your bag. Not a lot of elevation change but plenty of hazards.
Great lakeside course
They course was in excellent condition. Great views from most of the holes.
