Perfect afternoon
Course was in great shape and the deer were out in full force. The views of Lake Fork were amazing on a calm, sunny afternoon. We had the course to ourselves. Greens were in great shape and had decent speed.
Layout is pretty straight forward so trust what you see. If the wind is up, I’m sure this course will give you all you can handle. Several greens extend out into the lake on peninsulas.
Shop staff was pleasant and helpful.
The range was only open from the mats. Putting green and chipping area is smaller so can be crowded for warmup.
Saw the beverage cart at least twice which was nice on a fairly empty Friday afternoon.
Worth the hour drive from East Dallas.
Course layout was good challenge
Even though the course was a good challenge all of that was lost by a snails pace of play on the back nine (2.5hrs).There was no following of the stated etiquette of allowing faster group to play through. There was no course marshall to be found ; however, there was a nice snack/drink cart lady that I saw at least 8 times.

Course conditions were fantastic especially in August in TX. Overall great layout that will challenge all aspects of your game. This is one of the top semi-private/public golf destinations in TX with a stay and play option...yet well worth any day trip from DFW area.
A must play...but bring some bug spray it gets a little thick in a few spots back by the lake this time of year.
Diamond in the rough
Beautiful course with a great lay out. Views of the water and all the deer on the course made it that much more enjoyable. Really like the GPS carts. Also lucked out by getting a Friday tee time because they offer prime rib every Friday night. If you can make it out I highly recommend it. Will for sure be returning regularly now that I know it’s there.
LALE
This is the second time I have played this course and once again I was very pleased with it. It is a diamond in the rough. You will not be disappointed.
Sunny Day at the Lake
This is my second time here, but the first was about 15 years ago. Living north of Dallas, this is a good hour and 45 minute drive. But, with some extra time on my hand, I wanted to make the trek out here and play this fun course again. The conditions of the course are very good; no complaints at all. Love the speed of the greens. The layout is fun with several short holes, but also mixes in some tough ones. The clubhouse is a bit dated, but not sure it affects people's experience. Hitting off mats at the range annoys me since it scars up the bottom of my clubs, but not a deal breaker. The carts were great, love the GPS, club cleaner, etc. The paving on the road coming in is a bit rough, don't call the wambulance. Will try to come out every so often and enjoy the fun course and great views of the lake.
East Texas Gem
My wife and I live in Dallas have played Lands End multiple times. It never disappoints and is worth the easy drive. The course is in great shape, and the waterfront setting can not be beat.

The Links was by far the nicest and most breathtaking golf course I’ve ever played at.
Views galore.

Hidden Gem
The Links at Land's End is a beautiful course. Manicured fairways, perfect greens and the scenery, the lake and the deer. Quiet and hidden, just one word sums up this course- Perfect!
Great shape
The Links rarely disappoints, it’s a 75 minute drive but well worth it. Everything was in great shape, including the greens , t boxes, fairways . I only have good things to say about the round. We did have a large group that was in front of my two-some but they were courteous and let us play through with no issues. The staff was friendly in clubhouse and on course to top it off.
