1757 Golf Club
About
Located just a few minutes from Washington Dulles International Airport, 1757 Golf Club is one of northern Virginia's most popular courses. The name comes from the same year that Loudoun County was founded. The golf course is definitely a shot-maker's layout with a diverse terrain that has elevation changes up to 30 feet. There are several risk-reward opportunities as well. Well positioned tee shots will be generously rewarded with accessible approach shots but if you're errant, you'll have to deal with a tough recovery. The golf course is fairly tight so accuracy is a necessity. There are also water hazards on 14 holes and the rough can also be punishing. 1757 Golf Club finishes with an intimidating par 3 that plays over water to a shallow green. You'll need a bold stroke to avoid a watery grave.

First time but not the last
This was our first round of what promises to be many. The course is tougher than the par 70 would lead you to believe so bring your A game and your short game.
Challenging
Very nice outing, pace of play was excellent, some very tight holes that make it hard for wayward shots
Great Value and Convenient Location
As long as you're ok with planes flying over you more often than most courses, this course is a great value. Usually great conditions throughout and much better now after their landscaping has matured over the year's so that you feel like you're in a more rural area that actually being in the middle of Ashburn. Definitely pleased with the tough and unique layout. Also has much less change in elevation than most courses in the area.
Great value
Enjoyed another round. I forgot and even wore jeans and they allowed me to play. I probably should have taken a two stroke penalty.
another nice round at 1757
i must admit to being prejudiced - i host a golf event here each year - but today was especially fun, as we took our 10 year old granddaughter out for her first "round" of golf.
a couple of nits - the rough rough (2nd cut) really needs a haircut - lost too much time chasing lost balls in the grass adjoining the fairways. Plus, if we're going to have tee times before 830, we really need to be able to at least buy a cup of coffee!
Critique
Appreciated the drink carts but didn’t see them at the hottest time of the day, the afternoon. Divot jugs are needed as are ball washers.
Course Grows On You
Greens were perfect but hard. Rough still a little patchy. Third time I have played the course and it's growing on me. Has some quirky holes but they did the best they could with the acreage they had. Will continue to play at least 2 to 3 times a year.
1757
Overall great course in great shape. People don’t fix their divots so greens need some work. Really enjoyed playing there
My New Area Favorite
Nice course! Definitely more interesting than the average public course. Fair amount of water. But not too tight. A good challenge for an average golfer like me.
Superb condition and nice value for AM
Greens smooth and true. Fairways nice. Rough cut well.
Horrible staff
Manager and a couple workers are racist and will not give members the rights that they paid for. The manager especially will ignore and yell at customers and kids. Will not give people carts even though they have valid drivers licenses. So many rights are taken away from members even though they did nothing. Just saw a few teenagers getting yelled at for having a cart.
This course sucks
The manager Dave Kicked a 6 year old off the chipping area. Would rather spend money on food.
