Course in good shspe
Course retained a bit of water from the recent rain, but was very playable… Greens were wonderful and fast… Paired up with two others in the medical profession as I am, and we had a good round… Exchange phone numbers and hope to play again soon
It was well worth the money
Best course in Lafayette LA and surrounding area
Brought some friends to play who are members at Cane Row. They were very impressed with the conditions beings we had no rain for long time. Greens were rolling and very favorable. They will be going back to play soon. Jake still can’t beat Ryan lol.
Louisiana Wetlands
Nine of the eighteen holes do have water on them and all the holes have some natural grass areas. Course was in good condition. Greens were aerated a couple of weeks ago so the greens did bounce a little but they held very well and are getting better everyday. I would say they are medium fast and grade them an eight out of ten. Tee boxes, fairways and bunkers are in good shape. They normally have a very good practice facility except they are not allowing any woods on the driving range and one of the three putting greens are closed because they are trying a new type of grass. Staff is friendly and attentive. Overall I would give it 4 out of 5 stars and getting close to 5 out of 5 stars.
Excellent course
The staff was friendly and clubhouse was very nice. But the shining jewel is the course and that’s why we play anyway. First time playing but won’t be the last. A must play if you are in the Lafayette area. Just an excellent course. Very well kept up.
Awesome condition!!!!
This course is at this point the very best public course in the area and in my opinion in as good shape as the private courses. Very good value
fivesomes during peak hours
course is allowing fivesomes on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons when they're running a special on green fees and cart. a single fivesome teed up around 12:15 and backed several groups up and they had no one in front of them to slow them down. complained about this last week as it was an issue then too and don't understand why the course if allowing it as a marshal could see it when he drove around the course when met up with our group on the 14th green. every group was stacked behind the fivesome with no one in front of them.
