About
The Els Club at Dubai Sports City features an 18-hole golf course with an interesting links-style layout that incorporates traditions of classic design. The golf course is the first designed by Ernie Els in the Middle East. It is situated on softly undulating terrain, providing rolling fairways and sloped greens. Sand dunes and native desert vegetation sprinkled throughout offer a genuine feeling of playing golf in the desert. The Els Club at Dubai Sports City also provides plenty of challenges with steep greenside bunkers and grass swales. Four sets of tees accommodate golfers of all skill levels and abilities, making the course a popular destination for advanced golfers as well as beginners.

Great Course
Very nice course. Well maintained. They are constantly trimming the grass and up keeping the course while you are playing. Most workers are good about turning off engines while you shoot.
Lots of Sand!
The Els Club in Dubai was a pleasant surprise. I had the morning and afternoon free before my flight back to US. The course was fantastic!! There were a few mini tour players practicing while i was warming up which was a cool experience. The Butch Harmon School of Golf is there and is were Rory Mcilroy can be seen in the off season.
The course was in great shape but there is a significant amount of bunkers so your short game has to be on point. I would highly recommend this course if you are in the area.
