Review of golf day
Course was in ok shape greens were a little ruff .i enjoyed myself an pace a little slow.
Enjoy playing this course.
Problem today with slow play was slow 4some who would not fester players play through. Ended up just bypassing a hole as they wouldn't wave up through.
Fun course to play, some narrow fairways but a great short game course with a couple 200 yard plus holes.
Worst course ever
I’ve played NYC public courses that are Augusta National compared to Lakewood. Terrible condition & worst was the clubhouse was closed due to the bartender quit. But I did witness my first hole-in-one. That’s fun.
Open arrival the starter met us at the rear of our vehicle and ran over my golf clubs that were standing up. He tried to bend it back in shape. He told my son he needed a shirt with a collar which I brought one of mine just in case. We played our round and he had the audacity to come over and laugh at my sons outfit because the colors didn’t match, are you kidding me?
The course was clean but the green were very small and in an hour glass shape. I was hoping for a more challenging course but it is just a par three course. In Naples they claim that this course is great for it value but I would rather spend a little more for a beautiful eighteen hole course.
Expensive and not impressive
Regular price is $57.00 but is worth about 25 to 30$ maximum... Mostly par 3 s with greens the size of a mobile home .... a small one ..:-)) and in poor condition ( bumpy and sandy )
Will not return for sure..
