A Jewel to seek in the heartland
Although not my first time on the course, it had been quite a while (7-8 years) since I played this track. I'd had fond memories of it, and a month a go gained renewed respect for this find layout. Located about a 40 minute drive southwest from Memphis in the Tunica area of northwest Mississippi, the course is relatively flat but very exposed to prevailing winds (making it dicey to avoid the many water and bush hazards of this links style layout).
I'm happy to have played it again, and somewhat thankful that it is not more popular (due to Tunica casino area not being as much in demand as a decade or so ago). I know it's admired by all the area retired folks that regularly favor and play it.
We played a total of 81 holes over 3 days- gray course and super friendly staff!!
Course was challenging with water hazards on every hole. Course condition was great, but missing rakes on a lot of sand traps.
So much fun!
Took a group of sixteen ladies and we really had a great time. The course was in good shape and the staff in both the pro shop and the restaurant were amazing. Already planning another outing here!

The reason why I love this golf course is because they have a lot of challenging holes.
This golf course really test your golf skills to the MAX. A person that have a good score
On this course has to really be on their A Game.
Play
Called clubhouse from #13 tee box about a sixsome on the course. Said they would send someone out right away. It was an eightsome on 14 through 18. 5 1/2 hour round is not what I expected from such a good course. Truly disappointed in management. Should never be four separate groups waiting for, what appears to be cronies of the course.
The staff was super.!

Fairways were in good condition and greens were fast and smooth.
Great course for the price!
The course has been going through some updates and is getting even better daily. It is well maintained, the staff is great. Really enjoy playing this course.
