Executive at Seven Springs Country Club
About
Seven Springs Country Club in New Port Richey offers two golf courses, the Challenger and the Championship. The club conveniently sits just minutes from the scenic Gulf of Mexico beaches and attractions of Tampa Bay. The Challenger Course is an executive-length layout that offers the same challenges as the more demanding Championship Course but on a smaller scale. There are not as many water features on the Challenger but there is a large lake and a meandering creek that comes into play on several holes. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. The layout offers a gentler version of the Championship that is more manageable for beginners but it is also a great quick round for more experienced players. It is even gentle enough for juniors to get in some short game practice.

Beautiful Layout
We played the saddlebrook course. We were greated with very friendly bell guys. Thanks Tim your attitude was great. Shuttled to course, entered the pro shop and they were complaining we were there? Oh they showed up? They asked what course we wanted to play, said saddlebrook as saw advisory was on golf now as Palmer course was air rated. Went back out side and they directed us to 10th tee. It rained a lot evening prior and was cart path only. Near 11 th green we we questioned by another starter and he demanded we show our receipt. Very weird as we we literally the only two on either course. They he drove through several wet fairways to go where? Greens were in terrible shape as over half were in need to serious repair. No mention of this in the pro shop. Hole 6 green was under repair with 6 guys shovels and half green being replaced. Head greens keeper came and apologized to us personally on 8th hole and thought pro shop was to not open course to his knowledge. The layout is fantastic, windy and wet so very challenging and really enjoyed the round spite the pro shop and poor greens.

Terrible
The worst greens in Florida!!! Don’t waste your money to play the Executive Course!
Greens are unplayable
I’ve been golfing for 30 years and have never seen greens this bad. I’m not sure why the course is still open but you’d be better off putting in the fairway. I’ll not play there again.
Course was poor condituin
There were 18 greens without any complete grass surfaces. Course was confusing on designations for what hole to play
No greens to speak of..
The greens (if you can call them that) are in the worst condition I have ever seen. I have played this course in the past and they were just fine. A month ago I player the Championship course and the greens there were fine. I would not return again unless I was assured the greens were better.
Greens were treacherous.
We did get a deal, 25 dollars for 18. Didn't realize we would have to wait 15 minutes every hole to tee off. Then greens were just horrible. Should not charge anyone to play that course. Was a huge let down, country club amd amenities were on point, but the Executive course was a 2 out of ten.
A Lot Worse Than Last Time
The course has gone downhill since the last time we played. Some of the tee boxes were a mess, Fairways were decent but the greens were awful. Most of the time you were putting on sand or dirt! Dissappointed!!
Greens are terrible
I took my grandson out for a round. I thought an executive layout would be perfect for a newbe. Unfortunately, the greens were the worst I have ever played on. Even freshly aerated greens are better than this. I am not a turf specialist, but it would seem to me that the greens should be killed and restarted from scratch. This could be a fun short course but …
Get what you pay for
No greens and no tee boxes. Fairways ok. Practice approach shots is all its good for but you play it quickly because putting is impossible.
Poor Course Conditions
Terrible green conditions and tee boxes weren’t used for some holes. First and last time I come here unfortunately.
Don't waste your time.
Accidentally booked the executive course instead of the champion course. This course was in terrible shape. There was more dirt than green. Tee boxes were like sand. Don't bother playing this course. Wouldn't play it for free.
From Bad to extreme worst course ever
Apparently, Severn Springs wants to find someone stupid enough to pay money for this course as they continue to destroy it. They should be ashamed to charge a fee since they put absolutely nothing into it.
Very Rough
I played there last few years but this is about as bad as I ever seen it. For $18 i guess it’s good. But not for anything over $20
The course is in rough shape.
Greens, tee boxes and fairways are a mess. I played yesterday and unfortunately had already booked for today. Otherwise I wouldn't have played it again.
