requires maintenance
front was closed ... when open, course will be more playable
Nine holes closed
Love the course layout, great staff, BUT.... last spring they closed the front nine due to terrible course conditions - hogs digging up fairway, and just plain, bad condition. I called the course from up north on September 4, as I will be heading back South soon, and lo and behold, the front nine is still closed, with no definite reopening date.
Please get it up to snuff soon, or you will be losing all your customers, and the course in general! We want you open and fully operational! Would NOT recommend this course as it is at present.
Narrow fairways ate a challenge
A great course to play if you want some challenges. Granted the wild hogs caused enough damage to close the front nine, but the back nine will give you a run for your money. And stop by their restaurant if you want to try some great food.......
Please stop saying your sorry-FIX IT
This course should be closed until it's repaired.
The green are un-puttable and the fairways are full of weeds.
My god-just Fix this place or shut it down.
Every response from RR says that they are sorry but nothing is being done!!!!
Please FIX THIS COURSE OR CLOSE IT!!!
Playing in the Weeds
This is the worst course condition out of any of the local golf courses. As my playing partner said, "I will not play here again even if it were free". The "greens" are brown, full of dirt, tons of weeds, and bad spots everywhere. I know they said that they have had some wild boar issues lately, but that doesn't excuse having virtually no fairways (all dirt and weeds). The whole course should be considered a sand trap.
The people were very nice and people I played with Renee's the course was in the worst shape of any course I have played in on in my life unfortunate that they are open pigs had holes all over courses and greens could not be putted...
Maybe for a beginners but, probably not.
No Driving Range
Practice Green was in terrible condition
Starter sent us to first Tee and other Golfers at practice Green said they were next
Starter said Course was in rough condition do to wild hogs
Not one Green of 18 was in acceptable condition
Maintenance was burning brush near a tee box
Maintenance was clearing brush when the Course had more obvious immediate needs
Many of the Tee Boxes had incorrect yardage
Come back when repairs are made
Played course about a month ago and to see what happen to it is amazing. It looked like someone had took a bull dozer and destroyed tee boxes and fairways and greens. I questioned a grounds person and understand a large number of wild boars had done the damage. I think it will take months and thousands of dollars to bring back to where it was a month ago. Sad to loose a close by course.
A nice place to play a round
Best kept secret other than Paul's in Tarpon Springs...
Bad shape
Really bad shape. The tee boxes are uneven and there’s weeds. The greens are mostly brown and in bad shape. The layout of the course has potential but needs a lot of work.
Short but beware.
For the value received you cant complain. The front nine is very short but the back will challenge you. Its a work in progress and you can see that they are trying hard to bring it back. A job well done. Be%er than you paid for.
Mind the alligators
It's a good practice course the greens are not the best but the wildlife around you makes up for it
Getting Beter
This is our 3rd year on this course. Each year the course is in better shape. They must learn to grow grass better, but course is greener than I have ever seen it.
A nice place to play a round
This is a nice course close to home where the staff is great. The carts are clean, and the course was in good shape. The back nine will challenge your drives and putting game.
The fairways could be a bit better, but still enjoyed playing there ifn fact coming back this week too
