Beautiful Course!
Too much water for me. I lost a ball every time. Also, I'm not used to so many 3 par under 100 yds.
Tight
For an executive course, it is well maintained. Greens and tee boxes in good shape. Narrow fairways with lots of water.
Strange days indeed...
Excellent conditions. Extremely narrow course. Only one bathroom on the entire links-style course - (unacceptable), and no water station - (if you don't bring your own beverages then you must purchase bottled water or Gatorade in the pro shop before you tee off). Also, strange that they are freakishly rigid about wearing a mask in the pro shop, but claim that COVID restrictions have been lifted for golf in Florida and consequently all single golfers must share a cart with whoever they pair you up with. According to the pro shop rep, they'll be putting the rakes back out and expecting everyone to use the flags again beginning next week.YIKES! There must be a different news network in North fort Myers because from what I've read, the pandemic isn't over and they're even saying that we may see a second resurgence. I had a great time but I won't be (a) risking my life to golf here as a single during the pandemic, or (b) ruining my bladder to golf here either. Strange days indeed.
Great little course
Played this through golf now. Got a really good price for a fun and challenging course. Looking forward to playing it again
Feels like a course going under
Late February in Fort Myers Florida is prime time for snowbirds who want to golf, but Sabal Springs was nearly empty. Few cars in the parking lot. One guy trying to run the pro shop and wash golf carts.
Nice bar and restaurant is closed.
Feels like foreclosure is knocking on the door.
Narrow with lots of water
Beautiful course. Amazing price for Florida in season golf. Friendliest clubhouse dude we’ve experienced this year. Playing the back tees (blue and white) require experience and precision or you’ll come away with many fewer balls. We played gold for rewarding irons practice. Will come again for sure.
Water and houses
This course has water everywhere , often on both sides of the fairways. Speaking of fairways, they’re lined with houses too close to the course. If you’re playing army golf, forget it. Left right and into a house. It was not my favorite round. Unless you are a pinpoint golfer, I’d suggest going elsewhere
Big Disappointment.
Private course not open to public. Was 200 yds from gate when pro shop called me to tell me TeeOff advertised tee time in error. 1 and 1/2 hours each way from house wasted.
Good time
Went in pro shop the man checked me in very cordial asked me to wait for two others with my tee time ok went to play at our own pace as no one else was playing course is very challenging due to water and wind very narrow in places close to houses all in all hd a good time time I would play it again
Where is the golfers?
Went to this course an hour early. No one on the course. The fellow in the pro shop made us wait till our specific time and no one ever went to play while we waited an hour. Pro shop fellows very unfriendly! Course in good shape greens very nice!
Interesting course
I’m iskallt plats championship courses so this was a little bit new experience. Very narrow design and very challenging if you go for the greens on every hole. Great fun !!!!!
Why is Sabal Springs NOT following the orders to Not gather in groups . Those people will continue to stop the spread because they don’t care but they’ll expect treatment over those other f us who followed the rules STAY out of groups”. Then they go eat at the bar/restaurant: this will only continue to endanger others life’s. Sad...Very SAD ...
