Mucho Bueno

Anytime I have to grab my camera to take a picture of the driving range, I know I’m going to enjoy my round.

This course has plenty of scenic holes, with both the mountains and the ocean providing picturesque backdrops to some very nice holes.

The black volcanic sand bunkers have a different playability than regular sand but add to the overall visual appeal of the course.

I played in August, which is the slow season for the area so the fairways weren’t in peak condition, but the greens were fast and true and provided a good challenge.

I thought the holes were nicely laid out. The entire Island is on a slope so half the holes tend to be downhill and the others uphill. I found the course a decent but not impossible test of golf.

The staff were very helpful and nice and the rates were decent for resort/vacation golf.

I was out early in the morning and got paired up with a twosome from England. We seemed to have the course to ourselves, which is always enjoyable.

Overall I really enjoyed the course and would definitely play again.
