I have played it when it was in a lot better condition. Needs some maintenance.

The staff is extremely friendly. The greens ran true and fast Great time had by all!.
Pine Oaks Ocala
It was oue first time. There was three of us. I was hoping to meet Brian who works there sine I spoke with him several times. As a female golfer, my friend and I had a wonderful time. The greens were very fast so we had to manage our putts better. overall, the staff was wonderful and we would definitely return!!!

Great for the money, never any hold ups.

Course conditio
Average for this time of year. We had some freezing temperatures so the Bermuda grass was dormant.
slow play
Course was average condition for the time of the year. Play was sooo slow. You couldn't get into a rhythm for play. Hopefully next time I play it will be a better pace.
Great Place for A Round of Golf
Fun course in good condition for a reasonable price. Variety of holes with trees, water and wildlife. The course is fairly open and only really errant shots will get you in trouble. Watch out for the alligator that hangs out by the 18th tee box. He's only 3-4 feet but I wouldn't want to meet him up close.

good course for us hackers. overseeded greens right now and slow. new carts helped. would play again.
Greens coming back
The fairways in good shape some greens need a little work over seeding working but they are fuzzy

Greens have improved from the last time I played this course. Greens were a little slower than normal due to overseeding for the winter.

This was my first time playing in this course. The maintenance is great. Is a moderate difficult course. Great time there. The staff is friendly.

The people were very friendly and nice to talk to. The course was very maintained and greens were fair for this time of year. We will play their again soon.
Great course under normal conditions,
When in season this is my favorite local course... They are completing greens maintenance currently... Also the use of the golf now reservation is having some less than tolerable greetings from the staff... It almost seems though they disapprove of us using the app... Very disconnected customer service on the LAST 3 reservations, on ALL courses we played...
a good overall course, but sadly the greens need a little work. there are a lot of bare spots that look like the torn carpet at a put-put course.

This is a very nice course
The only exception to having a pristine course, is the quality of some of the greens. Otherwise, the course is very beautiful.

You get what you pay for.
I paid the hot rate of 13/person and well the greens showed that. They were horrible. I've played here before and had other problems and this will more than likely be my last time at Pine Oaks.
Long drivers course.
Plays long from the back tees. Water holes are challenging. Emphasis is on a long drive. Greens are excellent, layout interesting. If you like trees all around that add to the scenery but not in the way of most shots you will enjoy this course.
