Pine Oaks Ocala
What a lovely course! Made to feel very welcome on arrival right through to leaving, having enjoyed a wonderful game of golf
Easy course made for people like me, with a wicked slice.
I had heard bad things about this course, but they were all wrong. It is a pretty easy course, a lot of nice wide fairways with few big dog legs. The course was in very good shape for a city course. A few of the greens could have used a little more attention but all in all I was very happy. I was by myself and two different groups let me play through, on a Sunday. Very nice. The staff was super courteous, I think I found my new favorite place to play. More skilled players might find this course a little boring but I found it just right, challenging but very enjoyable, and well maintained.
A nice surprise
My son and I were looking for a half way point we could meet and play. Pine Oaks was a pleasant surprise even though the greens have just been overseeded and sanded. Majestic oaks, a decent course design and pretty fast play was great for these two duffers. We'll be back soon.!
Fun
I love playing Pine Oaks. It's also a great area to practice your game. The practice area has three greens you can hit into for free just bring your own balls and work on your game because you will need it here.
Great value; needs work.
We play here often because GolfNow gives us such great greens fees. The course is in pretty good shape except for a few of the greens. Two are being completely rebuilt and others need it. Still it's a popular course for the locals. Visitors will enjoy it too.
A good course to play
Reserving a tee time was very easy. The people in the club house were ready for me when I arrived and i was told I could go right out when ready. They are attending to some of the greens in need of work by using temp. greens. All in all the course is in good shape.
