Baseline Golf Course

This course is often referred to by regular players as Ocala's answer to Augusta National. It is as much a botanical garden as it is a golf course and is not to be missed.

A lil crowded at first tee we were 6th in line and another 8 behind us but when we got playing we had very little wait time on tees pace was just at hour and forty minutes for 9 holes

This course is the only course that has a northeast feel.. Fairways are immaculate.

The landscaping is great! Fairways and greens are well-maintained!

There is not enough can be said about the condition and beauty of this course. I have never played an executive length course that was as well taken care of as this one. The issues with this course is no tee time reservations. Having to wait 45 minutes just to get a cart and then waiting in line at the first tee for 50 minutes to tee off is ridiculous. Apparently according to staff this is a regular day. Its a beautiful course but over priced for an executive length with a very slow pace of play and extreme waiting period just to tee off.. Unless you have absolutely nothing better to do than sit and wait for 2 hours to tee off play somewhere else.

This beautiful course is just about 30 year's old and there are very few in central flor ida that are owned privately, and it shows. The owner rides the course near everyday. Every aspect of the entire course is on purpose. Every tree was spades in place just so. Every detail is on purpose. What you get is executive par 4 and 3 action on meticulously cared for greens and fairways nearly blemish free because they take care of their turf problems in a preventive way instead of a too late curative way because the whole place is the baby of one man and he owns it lock, stock and barrel. Beautiful waterfalls add to the relaxed atmosphere on a course that can be walked through if you want to bit is big enough to still be a challenge.in short I love the place by day and can go to it's lighted driving range at night. So go try it out. You will return for sure.

The only reason I am giving a 4 star rating instead of 5 stars is at $36 US they are charging too much for a course of this length. I was going to play again but I see they have jacked the price up from $29 to $36. So no longer interested. Course is in excellent condition and pathways are in better condition then most other courses. Sometimes play is slow however...... depends on the day I guess.

This course is just plain sweet. Accurate iron playing is very much needed, but reward is high if played right. Every hole is beautiful to look at. The greens require committed putts.

I really enjoyed playing this course. Staff was friendly and in good shape.
