The Country Club of Orange Park provides a scenic challenge with a diverse landscape of protected wetlands and towering oak trees. There is also a bird sanctuary that runs along the entire right side of the first five holes, offering golfers a glimpse of the wildlife that inhabit the golf course including wild turkeys, deer, and osprey. The layout features tree-lined fairways and large greens. The golf course has a more traditional feel with tees and fairways that were cut close to the greens, resulting in a narrow field of play. There is water on 14 holes and bunkers strategically placed around the greens.

Please fix the par 3 tee boxes!
A wonderful course, but I he par 3 tee boxes are horrible! Especially on the back nine!
Great course for the money
NIce course layout. Greens were extremely fast as they were still brown and dormant, but it was a nice course with beautiful houses around the course.
Course should not have been open! It was like a flood zone.
There had been a number of days that left the course extremely wet and muddy. Cart paths only and was not a relief from the wetness. In reality, the course should not have been opened for play. The conditions were deplorable. I think with the course up for sale has contributed to the downfall. I would not recommend anybody to play this course as it stands.
Nice
Great day, lots of water but very good shape for Jan..looking forward to playing again....Not many people on the course so it was play at your own pace.......very friendly in the pro shop...will be back soon....
A Florida Classic
Southern hospitality from staff and golfers. Narrow fairways and lots and lots of water and sand. Unfortunately lots of soggy spots all over. Practice area was exceptional. The Bar looked comfy and inviting. Maybe next time.
Great value!
Excellent course to play especially with GolfNow! Truly underrated. Fairways and tee boxes in great shape considering it’s winter, but greens were like putting on carpet. Don’t pass on an opportunity to play here, it’s well worth it
We'll be back
I played 18 holes with a buddy later on a Wednesday morning in January, so the course was very quiet. Because of that, pace of play was excellent (under 4 hrs).
For the time of the year, the course was in good shape with VERY fast greens that rolled well. The course's layout made me think more about position off the tee rather than hitting it as far as I could. My driver stayed in the bag more often than not. Reminded me more of a course in the Carolinas rather than a south Florida course.
Design, Wildlife, Starter--Premo
Enjoyed the winding lay-out. Through neighborhoods, but not excessive nor close. Some very interesting closing holes 15-18. These greens were the FASTEST I have ever played, certainly in the winter. Once we found the speed, we all made great putts. Greens were amazingly true. The various birds were a pleasure to see. The starter told us to keep moving so the turkey buzzards would leave us alone. Speaking of the starter, he came over to the distant range twice to insure I would be taken care of by moving me up with a wonderful local retired Navy couple. She turned out to be more consistent than he was, even though he started with four pars. Very enjoyable day, good pace. Truly a Country Club feel. Thanx GolfNow for a great price for a great course.
Tricky greens
Greens roll much faster than they appear with multiple slopes per green. Sometimes two or three breaks in a single 10' putt makes putting a challenge on this course.
Good course
Good course and decent conditions. Greens were nice and fast but are having some issues around the edge of the greens. At least they had a cart girl this time but no one operating snack shack to grab snacks on the turn.
