Grado GC
Grado Golf Club is situated along the Adriatic Sea, Southeast of Udine, in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. Dogs are welcome to join you as long as they are well behaved. My wife and I brought our two dogs out for a round of golf for the first time here and we all had a great time. Before the round, we at at the restaurant and had amazing meals and drinks... maybe a couple too many drinks before the round of golf :) I got paired up with a nice couple from Germany who were very friendly. The course was in excellent condition and the greens were rolling at a medium speed. There were no major elevation changes which was beneficial, because it was a pretty warm day and we were walking. The scenery was great and there was plenty of wildlife on the course to keep my wife happy. There were beavers, frogs, swans, and ducks all over the course. Lots of water to keep your eye open for and plenty of intimidating shots over bunkers and water to reach the greens. The course was semi-challenging but is great for all skill levels. A bit pricey, but worth the trip. Staff was extremely friendly, which is a plus.
