Great course
In town from NJ on biz trip. Played two other courses and by far this was the best. Great layout, condition and loved the fast and true greens.
Nice course in wildness
Nice course in the nature with no house around , design interesting and different
Alligator is alive
greens and fairways are good
to play
Starter asleep
Starter left me standing on the practice green for 20 minutes after my tee time. Not very aware of what’s going on. Otherwise pace of play was good and course conditions were good.
Wonderful Day
Didn’t really know what to expect when I booked this round for myself and a few buddies, but decided to give it a try. What we found was a shot makers course that we can’t wait to get back to!
The front night has water in play on most of the holes with carries off the tee costing more than a few balls if not hit straight. The back nine is not as eateries, but is a bit tighter, requiring a bit of imagination. Greens, in spite of just being top dressed, ran fast and true.
When the wind is up, watch out, since this is a tight/short track.
Will definitely be returning in the future.
Good Track
Excellent staff. Fast greens. Played in a Saturday and no sign of a cart girl. Definitely could have used some drinks out on the back.
Wny
Excellent course , facilities !! Worth playing and priced right for what u get ! Pga estate fir example couldn’t compair
Good par threes
We had a warm welcome and good service in the clubhouse. The condition of the course was good but slow play towards the end of our round..
Some good par threes !
Good parking and a warm welcome in the pro shop on arrival. We ate before we played and the food was reasonably priced and good quality.
The course is not long but a fair test and the best holes I thought were the par threes. The greens were running at good pace and no complaints on that front.
Plenty of wildlife to see and on our round plenty of time to view as we waited on every shot ! The ranger did her best to sort things out but when 2, 3 and 4 balls are all mixed up pace of play is a problem.
Overall we got what we paid for and a pleasant afternoon.
Wonderful layout. Challenging holes
I played this course from the white tees and regret it, souls have played from further back to get the full challenge. Staff was great with the exception of the guy mowing the tee boxes. By chance he ended up on three of my tee boxes all while leaving the mower running right next to me AND being on his cell phone the entire time. Not only was he on the phone but was also on speaker phone have an apparent disagreement with his wife (I don’t speak Spanish) that seemed pretty heated. I had to ask him twice to be quite while I was teeing off. I did let Larry the starter know before I left . Other than that a great place to play a quick round if you tee off early. I played as a single and couldn’t keep up with the guys in front of me. Hole #13 is really cool!!
Challenging but fun
Lots of wildlife to catch your attention but the course needs your focus. Doglegs and water make for target golf on some holes.
Not a bad track at all
The course is in great shape. The greens roll true with decent speed, I would guess they are probably rolling at or around a 10.5 - 11. Very polite clubhouse attendant. He seems like a very nice guy. I'm not a fan of slow golf, and that would be my only negative comment. Even though you're still on a 4 hour pace for 18 holes, it's still slow. I guess I cant be too critical of that. I would still recommend this course to as anyone who asks. It's a great bang for your buck golf course.
Wet conditions but very playable
Wet conditions and cart path only made for a longer day but the course was very playable. Lots of wildlife too on a beautiful day.
Nice track
Sandhill Crane was a nice track but the service was lacking to say the least.. I showed up as a single 15 minutes before my tee time only a few cars in the lot. As I walk into the staging area a bag attendant tells me no coolers allowed I need to take it back to the car. He tells me they have a beverage cart ok no big deal.. it is 105 degrees and I need something to stay hydrated.. so A bag full of snacks and Gatorades had to be stuffed into my golf bag all while rushing to get to the first tee.. I run up with my bag and the starter tells me you are on the tee with this 3 some that was teeing off. I told him there is nobody here can I play as a single and he said no singles allowed! This was a weekday most course are flexible. So I shake it off and introduce myself to the rest of the group and off we went. Course itself is beautiful and challenging with a nice layout. Greens were average speed but all and all is was a good golf course. Coming up the ninth hole (still no beverage cart) the golf cart tells me I can electronically order lunch so I order a turkey sandwich with some chips and a drink. I make the turn and walk into the restaurant and am promptly told that the restaurant is closed no food or anything!! I ask them why the heck do you still have the option on the cart screen if there is NO FOOD smh... So on to the back and the temperatures continue to rise..another hour and a half later and we finally finish and I tell the guy who made me take my cooler back that I didn’t see the beverage cart once and you have ZERO access to water. Long drive for poor service!. Course was fun but everyone working there is useless.
Could not finish in 4:20 mins! Only able to 11 holes.
Ridiculous! Starter lost a group. Had to waste time for him to locate them. No marshals pushing the slow play.
