Greens and fairway almost unplayable!

Fairway dry, little grass and rock hard.

Greens full of weeds and many spots have no grass at all.

Parce of play terrible. No Marshall on course. Play front 2 1/2 hours bye skipping the 9 hole. Play back in 1 hour 20 minutes after.

Always loved the layout, greens were fast but patchy. Still in the process of coming back to being a really nice course.

Conditions were terrible, sand and weeds on the greens the whole course was dead, pace of play was good because there were only a few groups on the course. Has potential but unfortunately it has not been maintained! The pictures on the website are not accurate to course conditions.

I have played this course many times and the course play is great. But unfortunately the new owner does not care about golf this is obvious there are weeds in the bunkers. Weeds all over to Greens they are very lumpy. The fairways are basically dirt and weeds at one point I stated I feel like I'm playing on a cow pasture. I sure wish the owner would get serious about the golf aspect of this course because as I stated it is a fun layout. Don't think I'll be going back I've given it a try every 6 months and it seems to be getting worse instead of better.

Course was in terrible condition, made playing not so enjoyable. Fairways where patchy and the greens where horrible, all sandy and diseased. I will not be back

I have not played at this course in several years because it was in bad shape. Today I learned that it’s actually gotten worse. The greens have a “patch quilt” surface including, the practice screen. The fairways are brown and riddled with weeds and the bunkers do not have sand; rather, they have something that is like a clay. Friendly staff.

Pro shop way out of way. Course is all dried out with weeds growing in sand traps. No play to warm up. No halfway service after 3. No ice at 230. Place has potential but needs so much work.

This course definitely has potential to be a Florida gem. The main issues are the hard pan fairways that are cut so tight it’s hard to control iron play . This course needs to be resuscitated with lots of water. The people at the course were friendly and I loved the snack shack between the 4th and 5th hole. I hope the summer rain brings this course to life.

Course is in terrible shape. Rock hard, could not use a wedge or lofted iron. Greens need weed killer. Entire course needs watering!

For $25, the course was as expected; you get what you pay for! Does course condition really even matter if you are dog water at golf anyway??

Disappointed in the conditions at Martin Downs at this time of year. The fairways and greens need significant maintenance. The bunkers need sand and grooming. Course was in much better condition in 2023 and 2022. The round played quickly at just under 4 hours - only good news. The staff are still excellent. Hopefully the course conditions will improve.

You can't get better for the money. Staff friendly and always enjoy.
