Great afternoon on the golf course!
We enjoyed the course very much. The greens and fairways were well maintained
Some of the sand traps had a lot of un-raked footprints, but there was good sand in the bunkers!
Look forward to coming back again!
Pretty typical round-1over through the first six then Bam! three bogeys in a row. So, I’m thinking “ I’ve got to play steady on the back. Again good start with three pars and once again I step on it and make four bogeys in a row. So I have two holes to play and need pars to shoot 80. Hole 17 is 200 yards and I stiff it to six feet and sink the birdie putt. On hole 18 I pound it 265 yards right down the middle off the tee. 100 yards now to the hole. You guessed it, I hit the second shot to 12. Inches for a tap in birdie. Oh, how was the course? Great today, just great!!
Course was in excellent shape & staff very helpful and friendly! Pace of play was great and played with Illinois Jim & Irish Tom and had a Fantastic Day!
This is one of my favorite golf courses in the area. Would highly recommend.
Palm harbor golf course
the tract is getting better all the time I would recommend playing here greens are picking up speed and fun to play
Palm harbor golf course
Tees and fairway in very good shape Green's a little slow would still recommended this course
Great course to play. Slow pace not due to course - slow, chatty foursome in front of us. A great time regardless!
Course condition improving, always enjoyable to play here
When playing this course you start out with 3 average looking holes but then you start on a great design of short to long length holes.Actually the first hole is designed along a tributary to the inter-coastal waterway and it is a nice scenic opening hole. The first 4 holes are off to themselves, the 4th being a short par 4 dog-leg where tee shot placement is crucial. Then you head over to another short par 4 that can be driven and then play two more dogleg par 4's and a par 3 and 5 on the front. The back nine winds more around the local community with a few more water hazards than the front. All the greens are multi-tiered with multiple pin locations. This was the second time playing and found this course so well conditioned and a great layout I had to make sure I played here again this year on my vacation before it was cut short by Hurricane Dorian. This is a city run course so the prices aren't too high for a course you would think charge alot more. It's about a mile off I-95 so it's not hard to find if in Daytona.
We were told to speed up play. We were two players waiting for a group of four!
Overall we had a good day, but I have to question why we were told to pick up the pace, when we had to wait for the group in front for the majority of the holes. Admittedly we were slow on hole number four, but that was it. We ended up waiting for the foursome on 70% of the holes.
My playing partner felt the pressure and he exclaimed to me it took the fun out of playing today. Sadly he did not have a good day.
They had aerated the back nine yesterday and were doing the front nine today. We had to play the back nine twice. When I booked I didn’t see the notification. Very disappointed. The greens were over sanded.
my home course
As is typical here: good layout, slow greens, teeboxes and fairways are good, some bare hardpan spots in the rough cause bounces into the trees (some sod would be a much appreciated fix). A little extra care could take this course from a 3.5 to a 5.0
I was very disappointed Palm harbors service I have played this course, a number of times and today there were two pit bull dogs that were running loose on the third hole. I called the clubhouse and the young lady said she didn't know the name of the street and was very unhelpful. During the turn. I went in and said to her that there was a sign outside of the house in the back, That said, beware of dogs. at which point she's chuckled and said to me, O the owners have brought the dogs and. No concerns from my fear of those dogs. I will not play that course again and I will tell all my friends how disingenuine she was Cheryl Daniels
It's our city course and it is well maintained
I try to play Palm Harbor to support the staff and it has a few challenges that sharpen my game.
Good greens but ...
The first time I've played here this year and was pleasantly surprised. Greens were drilled about a month ago and had quite a bit of sand still on them which slowed the putts. Traps maintained well and burmuda rough was at 3". I'll be back.
