About
Editor's Note: The Meadows Course is currently closed, due to the damage from Hurricane Michael. See Bay Point Resort - Nicklaus Course listing for the remaining 18 holes that are still open.
Bay Point offers two scenic championship courses that are situated right along the Emerald Coast overlooking the pristine waters of St. Andrews Bay. Both golf courses offer a unique experience but the same beautiful scenery. The Meadows Course is classic country club golf with a playability that endures day in and day out. The layout features tight fairways, numerous bunkers, and lakes that present different challenges every time you play. The course is also heavily wooded with trees lining the fairways. One feature of the design that never changes though, is that it always demands accuracy and careful strategy. At 6,913 yards, the golf course allows long hitters to really shine. Bay Point's two 18-hole courses are complemented by practice facilities that include an immaculately manicured putting green and driving range.

Nice course
the course was in good shape but the greens are a little slow
February golf
I played both courses here the past three days and on twilight rate. Clubhouse people are great. I didn’t finish the Nicklaus course but it was fast after 3pm. Linda in clubhouse was helpful
Bay Point Meadows
So for Winter golf this course was in decent shape. Thgreens were not beaten up and rolled true. Pace of play was good. Staff was helpful.
Busy place but well organized! Will play the Nicklaus course next week.
Average course
Didn't think course lived up to the hype. Fairways were quite thin, I think mostly due to the fact there are no cart paths extending past the tee boxes. I realize this is fairly common on Florida courses but the fairways and rough get really beat up due to the cart traffic.
Nice course
The hole course was in great shape didn't over seed but a great course for the money
Good golf course great value
It was a really nice day. Windy and sunny. The course was in great shape. Pace of play not so good.
Playable even after heavy rain.
The day we went it was cool and had just rained quite a bit. Unfortunately they had closed the practice range and we had arrived early to use it. We were pleased that it was slow and we got off quickly. Even though it had rained allot the course wasn't to bad because it is built on sand.We were allowed to use our carts in the rough only and to cross the fairways once. Overall we had an enjoyable day.
Baypoint Meadows
Course is fairly easy and in good shape although wet. Greens were fantastic for this time of year. Staff were nice and very helpful for a first timer. Will return.
first round of the year!
Of course Jan 1 is winter, but Florida panhandle was merely cold while the northern states were frigid. 38 degrees and windy on the course, an interesting layout, two to three club wind. course was fair to play, some challenging green complexes, would love to come back when I didn't have to wear four layers of clothing. the scorecard had helpful hints for shot placement. staff were very cordial, I may have only been the fifth person on the course, ha ha.
So many people were booked that on 3 hole there was 7 carts waiting. Started round at 1220 at 4 we were trying of on hole 12 quit cause it was 410 and only getting to play till dark at 5. May have gotten 2 more hole if stayed. But not likely. Told front. But apparently rangerare good at sittin but not to help he never came out suggerst u give your self 5 hours if playing heres
Good Day at The Meadows
Course was in great shape for Winter. Greens were soft and rolled true. Fairway grass was thin but still overall good.
Enjoyable Golf
I have always enjoyed golfing at Baypoint Meadows. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The layout is interesting and challenging. Fairways are a little thin but it is winter and to be expected. That simply adds to the challenge and does not take away from a great day on the golf course.
nice course, great price, very nice staff, will play again
Greens needed cutting badly. Their condition ruined the day!!
The condition of the greens ruined the day for me. Chipping and putting, which is about 50% of the shots in a round, was useless motion.
If and when the greens are worthless, why charge a greens fee???
