About
Editor's Note: The Meadows Course is currently closed, due to the damage from Hurricane Michael. See Bay Point Resort - Nicklaus Course listing for the remaining 18 holes that are still open.
Bay Point offers two scenic championship courses that are situated right along the Emerald Coast overlooking the pristine waters of St. Andrews Bay. Both golf courses offer a unique experience but the same beautiful scenery. The Meadows Course is classic country club golf with a playability that endures day in and day out. The layout features tight fairways, numerous bunkers, and lakes that present different challenges every time you play. The course is also heavily wooded with trees lining the fairways. One feature of the design that never changes though, is that it always demands accuracy and careful strategy. At 6,913 yards, the golf course allows long hitters to really shine. Bay Point's two 18-hole courses are complemented by practice facilities that include an immaculately manicured putting green and driving range.

Too slow
The course was in beautiful condition but it took 3 hours to play the front—we left after 9. There were marshalls on the course, but apparently pace of play was not a priority. There were at times a 2-hole gap between the group in front of us and the group ahead of them—very frustrating!
nice course
it was a great course and it would be a good for golfers with 15 to 25 handicap as long as you played from the forward tees. it was a challenge when played from over 6000 yds.
OK course
Golf course layout was OK and condition was fair with average greens. Pace of play was so slow that we skipped three holes to get ahead of the slow players. Amenities were poor. No Water on the course and only one restroom. One restroom was out of order and the other was very rundown. There was a cart girl if you needed ice. The Restaurant was closed for renovation.
Te Course is great!!
The course is well maintained. Fairways and greens
are in excellent shape. I sometimes have problem
finding my ball when it lands on the fairway's second
cut of bermuda grass.
This is a beautiful golf course
The course is well maintained. The second cut rough on the fairways are hard. The balls seems to
disappear in the rough. You really have to look hard to find your ball. Otherwise, it is a beautiful
course and I enjoy the challenge.
great golf course
It was very busy but the Marshall had me skip some holes to get ahead of the foursomes in front of me
and come back to the holes that missed. Very good
decision for the Marshall to get players moving.
Goat Ranch
Don't waste your time/$. Terrible course. Junky/unkept conditions.
The course was still saturated from all the rain moving through the area. I would still play the course but in nicer conditions.
Will definitely be back!!
We visited Panama City this past week for a Golf/ beach Trip and this course made the trip UNFORGETTABLE! The staff was remarkably friendly and made us feel right at home the moment we parked the car. A gentleman met us in the parking lot to welcome us and take our clubs while we went to the Pro Shop. Inside, there was a great selection of accessories at very reasonable prices. I got a Bay Point hat and glove there!
The course has a great layout and is VERY well maintained. Each hole offers a different challenge but set up well for any handicap. We also chose to ride the GOLF BOARDS which really enhanced our experience.
Overall, I can't say enough about the staff and golfing experience this clubs provides. I can't wait to visit again!
The correct pace of play.
Playing the Meadows course by myself was so much better than rehab! Golfnow.com gift card on a Monday was within this old guy's budget and right on target! I will get back here on my next trip to PCB.
Great course but be prepared
Only saw drink cart 1 time on 18 holes. Didn't see any water coolers so go out with a cooler or a couple of bottles.
Course was nice, good condition, well taken care of. Worth playing
My review is actually for BP Nicklaus Course.
Review is for BP Nicklaus Course since the Meadows Course was closed due to rain. Staff put the 2 of us on the BP Nicklaus at same price of $36/person we paid for Meadows through GolfNow, a very nice gesture. Our entire experience with the staff was excellent, all were very nice and helpful.
The course was in good condition and enjoyable to play, although nothing exceptional other than the one hole that runs along the bay. For the $36 rate we paid it was a great value and glad we had the opportunity to play the Nicklaus Course. But at the full rate of $66-86 per person it seems a bit over priced to me. Keep in mind it is a property catering to vacationers drawn to the Nicklaus name which has to be taken into account on the rates.
If playing a Nicklaus Course is a big deal to you then you'll probably enjoy this one. It's a good course but a little short on "WOW" considering the Nicklaus name and expectation around that.
Architecture is great condition we're terrible
This was a pretty cool design and some really neat holes. I enjoyed it off the tee box, but the greens were horrendous. They were super slow even for a resort course and not just over grown but there were bald spots on most of the greens that would effect putts from anywhere. I don't know if I would expect them to advertise that the course isn't in good shape but most courses offer an aeriation discount. This was far worse than aeriation and there was discount. I was extremely disappointed and I hope some other people read this and find some better golf on there vacation this year. Stay away, hopefully they get this fixed before next year.
Great Course!!
Wonderful course and very nice staff. Would recommend to anyone for a great experience!!
Great golf!!!!!!
This was one of the best courses I have ever played. Great condition and the staff was excellent. I highly recommend anyone in the area to try this place out.
