About
Editor's Note: The Meadows Course is currently closed, due to the damage from Hurricane Michael. See Bay Point Resort - Nicklaus Course listing for the remaining 18 holes that are still open.
Bay Point offers two scenic championship courses that are situated right along the Emerald Coast overlooking the pristine waters of St. Andrews Bay. Both golf courses offer a unique experience but the same beautiful scenery. The Meadows Course is classic country club golf with a playability that endures day in and day out. The layout features tight fairways, numerous bunkers, and lakes that present different challenges every time you play. The course is also heavily wooded with trees lining the fairways. One feature of the design that never changes though, is that it always demands accuracy and careful strategy. At 6,913 yards, the golf course allows long hitters to really shine. Bay Point's two 18-hole courses are complemented by practice facilities that include an immaculately manicured putting green and driving range.

Beautiful course. My wife who is a beginner really enjoyed it.
meadows round
course was in pretty good shape - greens were excellent and the fairways had been aerated within the past 2-3 weeks.
pace of play was very slow.
A beautiful afternoon at Bay Point
We made a late booking to play and had a round plus cart for $25 each! What a great value. To make matters better for us, but not necessarily for the course, is that from our tee time to when we finished the round 3 hours later we did not see any other players! Nobody behind us to hurry us up. Nobody ahead of us to slow us down!
A nice course which needs a little bit of care on the tee boxes and fairways. But we have been experiencing drought-like conditions so water is a precious commodity.
The staff (Linda) in the pro shop was extremely helpful and friendly as was the young man who collected our cart and cleaned our clubs at the end of our round.
We will definitely consider playing again here and its sister course, the Nicklaus, which is reportedly more challenging.
Very nice, shorter course
Made a couple of lucky guesses as to where the clubhouse was; no directions from the front gate (1st right in the traffic circle, then stay on that road) . The staff met me at my vehicle with a cart and a kind word; very efficient and helpful. The greens are much faster than what I am accustomed to; bet I dropped 10 shots due to that (heh). The course is kind of tight and narrow, and there is OOB in the trees in some places; practice your driving on the range before you head out! The beverage cart showed up x3, which was plenty. All in all, a very nice course and a nice day of golf. Too bad there weren't any gators in their ponds.. that would have been awesome!
Played Meadows Course
My husband and I don't like to pay over $25 to play 18 holes with a cart. We found this course on Golfnow and were happy with the course. It was in nice shape, fairways were nice and greens were well taken care of. We played The Meadows course and would have liked to play the Nicklaus course, too, but couldn't get the same deal.
Nice course, resort setting.
I wish my score was as nice as the course. The layout is pretty flat and a little tight with Tree lined fairways. Very little water in play. The greens were fairly fast but easy to read, unlike the Nicklaus course. There is no halfway house so take some snacks or a sandwich. We saw the beverage cart twice and beer was not overpriced.
I frequently play this course
We often play this course in all 4 seasons. This is a nice course, especially for higher handicappers. It is well maintained and by playing the forward tees the game is fun even for the newer player. Lower handicappers and longer hitters can make the course more challenging by playing the back tees. However, as the course is relatively narrow you will want to keep the ball pretty straight off those tees. This course is slightly easier than our home club course (Kings Creek Country Club in Rehoboth Beach, DE), as the greens are less guarded and are easier to read. If you want more of a challenge, just play The Legend (Meadows sister course in the same resort).
Meadows
The pace of play was slow and the course has looked much better. Every thing seemed to be brown and dry. Hopefully it gets better it's a good course when green
Nice course
Played on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and seemed like we had the course to ourselves. Course was in good shape, greens nice and rolled true. Would recommend.
Great staff
The staff was very friendly and helpful, met me at parking lot with cart and starter was cordial in placing me with my playing partners for the round.Course was in good shape with very good greens, there is one tee box on second nine can't remember hole with a tree limb covering at least half the tee and the the tee markers were placed where the limb was directly in front of teeing area, this should be corrected. Overall great experience!
enjoyable course
The greens are in very good condition. Lots of dog legs and bunkers. Plays fairly long. Stay clear of trees to score well. I had fun golfing here.
Good course, great staff!
Course was in good condition, greens in particular were excellent, good speed, rolled true. I have to say that the staff that my wife and I encountered were extremely accommodating and pleasant, thank you!
Nice Course
First time playing this course. On arrival, was met by very friendly staff who put my bag on the cart for me and got me set up. The pro shop staff was equally nice.
The course was very nice. The only problem was that many areas were waterlogged and it hadn't rained in at least 24 hours before my round. It seems that it was just over-watered and has very poor drainage. Some of the greens were almost impossible to putt on because of how wet they were. There was water shooting up behind the ball as it rolled.
Other than that, the course was really nice. Most of the par 4's are not very long, but the area you're teeing off from are pretty narrow and there are lots of doglegs. There are also many holes where water will come come into play. So, despite the lack of length, there are still some pretty challenging aspects to the course.
This is a perfect course for a 15-20 handicap player. If you keep your shots straight, you can have a pretty good round.
