Bay Point Resort - Meadows Course

I've played here a couple times. The pace of play was good. Course doesn't drain well. Standing water in places. I've even had a time at the Meadows course after it rained overnight and when we got there the course was closed but the Nicklaus course was open for play. The staff put us on the Nicklaus Course as an upgrade, but that would have been a real problem if the weather was warmer and both courses were busy. Good greens, medium speed. Fairways were ok.

The greens on the Meadows side need to be mowed badly. They are rolling at a 1. They are slow! The course has some drainage issues on some holes leaving you step in mud when it looks like dry fairway. I play here every time I am in town!

Golf course is a fair test and the condition of the course is good. Enjoyed it and very good pace. Good practice facility.

Meadows is a decently kept course in the PCB area but the Nickalus course is much more scenic and fun to play. For the resort-type atmosphere that Bay Point projects, I would've liked to see faster greens. There is overhanging trees on majority of the holes that can block out shots even in the fairway. Overall, Bay Point Meadows is a good course to play with big practice areas. The course has a good mix of holes but this track is better to maybe warm-up for the Nickalus side. There isn't much "wow" factor on the meadows side.

A course that is well maintained and enjoyable to play

Very good layout playable , some tight holes, v g condition , fSt pace play, small greens, v g, nice grass in fairways, not many blind shots, well marked. I would plY again, the locals says it as god as the Nicklaus course!!!! Less $

I've played this course several times, so I had something to compare against. The only drawback was they had recently top dressed the greens. However, they still rolled smooth, so it was not a big impact. They do a great job of treating people well and it is a beautiful layout. Makes you hit all everything in your bag.

Having played this course several times in the past I was very disappointed in the conditions this time. Greens were very slow, and looked as if there had been a problem with the greens mower. Having worked a golf course for a dozen years or so, I would call the pro shop to check on course conditions before I played. Hopefully they will give you an honest answer!

Fairways were in good shape but greens were very inconsistent (one fast, one slow).
Got behind SLOW players with no golf etiquette, no marshall to speed up play/recommend pass-through.

Have played here before and will likely play again - just not a good day today.

I have played in the area about 4 times this trip so far. The overall condition of this course has been the best. Although the greens were in the best shape, they were a little slow. I am used to and prefer faster greens. In any case the day was superb.

I found this course on Golf Now and based upon the reviews I decided to give it a chance. I was a little concerned about the supposed "narrow fairways". The friendly greeter and starter also mentioned it when I said it was my first time at this course. I didn't find the fairways that narrow or intimidating! Now they aren't like the wide open ones you might find at a "resort" course, but they were easy to manage. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The course conditions were good except for the greens which were very slow. At checkin they listed them at a 7.5. The staff went out of their way to let me know about the slowness of the greens. So I was prepared. It turns out they have another course there as well. It has faster greens. I will definitely try it on my next trip.

I had the opportunity to play golf at this course where I have wanted to play for quite awhile. Using some of my Granpa "brownie points". Beautiful course, outstanding greens and interesting trees.

The course was ok overall. Staff was pretty friendly, fairways were ok. They were pretty wet from a previous rain so we had to keep the cart on the path where there was a path. Greens were a little to tall for our liking. The biggest annoyance was, it seemed, half the neighbor hood was crossing over our fairway doing whatever in their personal golf carts. Causing interruption of play. I would not recommend this course.

Greens had been aerated about 6 weeks ago, but still very bumpy and "hairy". Rolling very slow.

The staff was really nice, but when it came to pay in the pro shop the man was extremely slow.
The only other complaints are the green’s, they are really slow, an also there are very little water coolers on the course. Being in FL and in the summer there should be more coolers.

Fairways are super narrow. Playing from the back tees at just over 6900 yds did not help them to be any wider. Many of the holes have dog legs with several sharp ones. This made the distance off the tee just as important as into the greens. Overhanging trees made for the fairways to seem even more narrow and the dog legs that much more tricky. This was my second time playing it, another two or three would help for the tricky tee shots.

Shag, cart attendant, was the picture of excellent customer service! The course was in hood shape. I would give it an excellent except some of the greens were struggling.

Super friendly on point staff + very cheap booze on course compared top others + very light traffic + hot deal @ $34 = 9.5/10. Course in superb condition though Bermuda greens were a bit thick and slow. You may need your range finder though. Only one or two times all day was I able to use any measurements other than the 150 yard stob. A lot of guess work between that and swirling wind but greens receptive even if slow putting. Highly recommend over others in same price range. I played 2 others in PCB same week. Wish I had played this one 3 times.
