Flamingo Lakes Country Club in Pembroke Pines is one of the area's best-kept secrets. The layout is challenging but it is also very forgiving, making it accessible for players of any skill level. The course differs from other golf courses in the area due to its hilly terrain. Elevation changes are not common occurrences on Florida golf courses but you'll find several tricky uneven lies on this one. It also stands out for its superb conditions. Water hazards come into play on almost every hole, presenting some interesting risk-reward opportunities. There are also several strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout requires thought and strategy in order to score well. Flamingo Lakes isn't long, instead it provides a quick and challenging round that can be played in less than four hours.

What happen?
I play this course a least twice a month. I have seen the course improve since last summer but what happen in the last two weeks. A few tee boxes are getting very thin little grass. But the real disappointment is the greens amonth ago they were really looking and rolling nice. This week wow so many brown and bare areas. I hope they can get this under control because it is a nice course. Also they need rangers out there. The people ahead of us were hitting 2 and three balls each very annoying.
Good track . Course conditions could use some attention though . In the absence of a driving range perhaps a few nets to warm up ?
Not sure why tourists interested in playing during peak season are treated indifferently especially when we are paying inflated green fees during the month of Feb.
Value for money
Good course for the green fee we paid. Good lay out. Very quick greens which is not bad. A lot water in the back nine.
Greens need fertilizer
The maintenance should put more fertilizer on their greens
Decent Value
There aren't very many affordable courses in the Miami area. This is a decent value.
Course has some interesting/fun holes. Nothing fancy but a fun round.
Good surprise !
Goood value for money, little waiting )on a Saturday) before tee #1 but good pace afterwards.
