Flamingo Lakes Country Club
About
Flamingo Lakes Country Club in Pembroke Pines is one of the area's best-kept secrets. The layout is challenging but it is also very forgiving, making it accessible for players of any skill level. The course differs from other golf courses in the area due to its hilly terrain. Elevation changes are not common occurrences on Florida golf courses but you'll find several tricky uneven lies on this one. It also stands out for its superb conditions. Water hazards come into play on almost every hole, presenting some interesting risk-reward opportunities. There are also several strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout requires thought and strategy in order to score well. Flamingo Lakes isn't long, instead it provides a quick and challenging round that can be played in less than four hours.

Staff is awful, course is decent
Really need to reevaluate the staff, guys working the front desk are as rude as they come and not accommodating. Overbooked the day so pace was terrible. Course is decent for the money.
First round of Golf Trip
Round was fun. Staff were friendly and helpful. Coming from Canada the course was in good shape, greens especially.
My biggest critique is layout, Back nine gets boring but still $55 with a cart is a good deal.
Lee
Need better directions on which gate to enter. And then better directions on how to find the course.
Good deal
Picked this up on a hot deal. Was a fun rd. Course was in good condition. The wind that day made the water a little more difficult to navigate haha. I try and play here when visiting.
I haven't come back to play here at this course for 15 years and now I have a chance to came back to play I just like this course very much it's so much better than 15 years ago I strongly recommend it
Getting better than before
They fixed the green and fairways since last time I played there. It getting better. They just need to organize group tee up accordingly. My tee time was 8:20 but people with tee time 8:30 went ahead of us. People just check in and go out. A bit disorganized.
Well it is Florida during the busiest golf season so you have to expect slow play.
The course has a very nice layout the fairways are not bad the greens were rough Bermuda and they're just not managed well other than that it's a beautiful course for the money
Much improved!
I played Flamingo Lakes two years ago and the course is much improved. Greens, bunkers fand fairways were well taken care of and in better shape.
Small items like tee markers and the painted distance disks in the fairway show attention to the details.
Very good experience for me coming from North Dakota where snow covers the courses and it's 10 below zero!
Good value
Course was in good condition with only issue were the greens were a little slow. Last round of 2023 so somewhat expected.
