About
Marcus Pointe Golf Club tumbles across 600 acres of rolling woodlands, which is a rare occurrence in the mostly flat Panhandle area. The back nine is where golfers really begin to notice the dramatic undulations. Earl Stone, who has designed several Gulf Coast golf courses, created the layout. He has built his reputation on building playable and affordable courses. While water may not come into play often, golfers will still be kept on their toes by the numerous sand bunkers and an abundance of trees and of course, the tricky angles and elevation changes throughout. The golf course is challenging but fair with a playability that appeals to golfers of all skill levels. The greens are well manicured and keep all abilities in mind. Four sets of tees make Marcus Pointe Golf Club even more accessible.

Better than expected
The course was in much better shape than expected for the time of the year. They’ve done a good amount of work on the tees and greens and it shows. Nice to add another course to the playable list.
Much Better Than Expected
The course was in great shape. Greens were pretty immaculate, aggressive slopes on some of the greens. Make sure you're beneath the pin when you get to the green, otherwise you can almost guarantee yourself a three putt. Pace of play was really good. The cards were the best I've been on, especially in this area. Consistent notifications about blind spots and notifying you when the group ahead of you is out of the way and it's safe to play, not to mention the reminders about ordering in your lunch, were very welcome. And I stayed in my review title, I heard some pretty bad things about this course last year, but in the last couple of months, I've heard that the course is so much better. I can attest to that. It was a really nice course, great layout, great shape, excellent staff!
Great Course
Played here several times this season. Love the course! Always in good condition!
It’s back
Marcus Point is a great layout, and it’s good to see it coming back. Greens were a little slow, but that’s probably a good thing with the undulation. Good course for the price.
Fast greens
Greens were very fast. Ball would not hold. Some of the more undulating greens were very challenging. Even with a good shot the ball could roll quite far. Other than that the course player very nicely.

Great Course, Lots of Waiting
The course itself and the clubhouse is great and the twilight rates are almost unbeatable. The only real issue with the course was the pace of play. Maybe it was just this day but we had 4 groups waiting on one tee box from the 12th till the end of the round. If you bring a friend and are don’t mind a little waiting this is definitely a great place to play.

The first winter in 5 years I've been in Pensacola that any local course has oversewed for the winter!! Fantastic!! Greens in great shape too!

Beautiful Course
This was my first time playing this course and it was gorgeous. We saw some of the groundskeeping staff while playing and they asked how the conditions were from where I just hit and if it needed to be a little shorter. Great staff and grounds crew. Keep up the good work!
