Great hot deal
Took advantage of GolfNow hot deal to play Pompano Beach Palms. We arrived early and took advantage of the convenient practice facilities. We were able to go out earlier. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The carts are very sensitive to being close to the Green and the course would benefit from having markers to indicate cart direction and max distance. The fairway and greens were spotty. We enjoyed the course layout.
Greg Norman should be embarrassed
Have played here several times over the past few years. Course has nice layout, but management is atrocious. They have poured millions of dollars into this place and it still looks like a goat pasture. They need a professional management team and not the government to run this place. It is awful!
First time played
Well truly what made it good was the weather not the course. For a Gregg Norman course that was just redone recently I was very surprised it wasn’t better . Lots of bare places in the fairway - greens had bare places too that were filled in with green color. It’s just not a course ild ever need to play again. But for people that aren’t good players and don’t care it could be good for them . I’m just used to a great Golfcourse at home that is amazing!
Golf now
booked a tee time at the palm's course only to find out it's a walking only course. When I made the reservation it said cart was included .
After speaking to the course to confirm I was told that they keep informing Golf Now of this and they don't change it on the listing.
Can't cancel the booking, Can't contact a person at Golf now, Can't cancel guess I'm stuck paying and not playing I can't walk 18 holes and won't walk in this heat.
Sucks for me !
T Times
What changed why can why can t times not be consistent for booking they had a t time 11.39 am for ever. Now its all over the place
Thumbs Up!
This was my first time playing here and I’ll definitely be back. Protocols in place to deal with Covid 19 prevention were reasonable and didn’t deter from my experience. Course was good shape and finished my round in just under 4 hours.
Good place to play
nice cource good condition nobody on course today grenn a bit slow but very nice easy course but fun to play and the price it is very fair
Golfer friendly course
Wide fairways and generous size greens both in very good condition! A pleasure to play!
OK at best
So the course was shut down for a few months to redux the greens. They were OK at best, but very slow!!!
There were lots of barren spots from 50 yards in, where instead of grass you’re playing on “sand”.
For the price we paid ($23) feels a little high. Once the winter / Canadian rate goes up....I won’t play there until the rate comes back down.
For a Greg Norman course, sure feels “meh”.
Awful condition
Pace was ok but it was a stormy week. Hired a set of clubs for $40 nice Set. Greens poor condition, fairways ok. Bit disappointing and will play Pines next week. Best value at $26 though. Second time here whilst on vacation.
Slow play
2 Guys 2 F##cking guys because no ranger regulating pace off play ridiculous slow holding 5 groups up
