Palm Valley Golf Club
About
Since opening in 1989, Palm Valley Golf Club has become a favorite among locals for the extremely affordable rates and enjoyable round. Surrounded by acres of horse farms in the heart of Nocatee, the golf course offers an idyllic and relaxing game. The nine-hole layout consists of two par 4s and seven par 3s. The golf course is ideal for beginners or for golfers looking for a casual round, but don't be mistaken: It is not a simple pitch-and-putt. Palm Valley Golf Club features well manicured target greens bordered by sand bunkers and water comes into play throughout. In addition to the golf course, Palm Valley also offers a 10,000-square-foot putting green, the largest in the area.

Palm Valley 1st time
The course was narrow and water could come in to play on six of nine holes. Some of the greens were in rough shape and the greens were long making it difficult to determine the pace at which to putt the ball. But it was inexpensive for two people and one pull cart rental only $37. Not a bad place to work on your short game.
Don’t believe the few reviews that speak of great course for your short game ! There are no greens !! Bare spots, weeds and longer weeds that’s it.
You can play the 9 holes with a hybrid and a nine iron.
Fine bring the putter but you’ll see it’s not even worth it
Snag a hot deal for $10 but don’t waste your $$ on a regular priced round
I keep hoping they’ll fix the tee boxes and greens and keep getting disappointed
Target Practice Only
Great course for target practice. No putting greens.
Great irons course
Good course for those wanting to improve their short game skills..
Great course for irons play!
Great short course with challenging holes. Very reasonably priced. Not sure why it doesn’t have a better rating, I could not open the reviews section. I like the laid back atmosphere and the staff are friendly, they will show you how to use the Top Tracer app if you want to use one of the bays. The owner is committed to making this small course the best it can be. I like being able to get on the course for a quick round. Weekends are busier naturally.
Ignore star reviews
This is the best irons play course available they have top tracer golf bays available until 10:00
Great irons course
Don’t believe the stars review. This is is the best course to play irons. It has great top tracer bays and a nice grass tees and putting green.
Nice little course
It dose very well glad it is still open has been there for a very long time nice place to go practice your short game
Good short game clinic course
Greens were in atrocious condition, but the rest of the course was ok . Very nice setting surrounded by all sorts of livestock. Great staff. Would fo again for the $.
Great value of a course
Great value course with calm presence. They are invested in developing the facility. This course is well priced and is a great place to get out and practice short iron play. Entertaining and family owned. Would recommend!
Good Value and Great for Beginner's
My wife and I played the course for the first time recently. My wife is a beginner and found the course convenient and she enjoyed herself. I’ve been playing for 40 years. The staff was extremely helpful.
Thank you.
GREAT WALK
Palm Valley course condition is improving and is always a nice walk... greens still need more work but rolls quick, tee boxes sandy but I use a tee so no big deal. Overall a fun course to work on my swing and get some fresh clean air... keep up the good work PV GC!
Only good for working on your wedge gane
First the pros: they were super nice when you stop in to get a tee time. Never been there and pro shop guy showed me the layout of the course. Looks like they have a great driving range with top tracer that’s fairly new. I’d recommend that.
Now for the cons: basically a par three course. Two “par fours” one shirt par for and one that should be a long par three. But mostly just SW, PW, and GW all day. The greens are absolutely horrid. Don’t even bother putting on them. See pics. If you zoom in you’ll see tons of weeds and dead spots.
Super nice people, but definitely not worth my 30-40 min drive from the Ft. Caroline area.
Good practice
as always... the course is enjoyable for what it is... an easy walking 9 holes for practice or learning course for new/young golfers. course is very short and overall in decent condition. some greens better than others (not reliable for reading/practicing putting). some improvement since last played and glad to see PV is hanging in there!
Now I’ve seen it all !
Years ago this was an ok pitch and putt type. Not fancy but to work on some irons for 10-12$ we could deal with it.
Starting in 2021 the course became a cow field. Greens overrun with weeds, tee areas 80% sand…
We gave up. Was in the area this week and decided to see if there were improvements. Nope ! But get this - they doubled the price 🤣🤣🤣
Never ever coming back. Not worth $10 let alone $27
GOOD PRACTICE
PV is a good quick practice round and nice walk. Greens are rough in areas but playable. Tee boxes moved around some since last playing there. Fairways good overall to hit a shot...Good value overall and joined up with a couple older guys and had a good time. PV layout is on a nice little tract of land with potential to be a great 9 hole course!
