St. Lucie Trail Golf Club - hole 14 Photo submitted by TimGavrichGP on 09/21/2018
Challenging, yet not too difficult for amateur golfers.
For a first golfing experience at St Lucie area, it’s a lovely in town course.
Great track
Other than the greens being aerated recently, the course was in great shape.
Great Place to Play Golf
We played St Lucie Trail golf course as we obtained a low rate on GolfNow. The course was in good condition. The fairways were excellent with the greens somewhat bumpy due to aeration several weeks ago. The greens made it somewhat difficult to make puts. It was a good day as we enjoyed the course and the staff at the course. We had drinks afterward and the staff there was the best. The course is rather difficult but fun. We will always play here when we can get a low rate.
cart path only
Unbelievable day of golf, told not to drive anywhere on course after the 5th hole by Ranger. They should have told us before the start. I am a disabled veteran and can't walk very far so by the end of hole 14 I could not play anymore and ended up leaving before we could finish.
I would have never played this course today if I knew before hand. Terrible Ranger not letting us go 90 degree rule for my condition, only said we would be kicked off course if caught driving off cart path. Pathetic, will never play here again.
Great Layuot
We enjoy this course although it is a tad long for me, unfortunately there were aerating and sanding the greens and the putting was haphazard at best. The strange thing is they restricted play to the front nine only and as the 8th tee is close to the 11th green, we drove over and the 11th green looked just like the 7 greens we had played previously so we don't know why the back nine was not open which would have made the afternoon more enjoyable.
would of been nice if they told me that the greens were airrated and we could only play the front nine
Wet Course
The fairways are in excellent condition but were very wet with lots of water and puddles due to heavy rains. The bunkers were mini ponds full of water. The greens were in excellent condition but different color grasses were evident on many greens. Staff was very friendly.
It was cart path only because course was very wet. Pace of play on front 9 was great. Back 9 hit a wall and took almost an hour longer to play.
Great Golf
St Lucie Golf Trail was in good condition. There was some wetness on most holes. Not much run and more ball in the mud areas. Greens in good condition. The course was challenging but great.. We had a terrific time playing. We liked the course layout and enjoyed the staff. We had a drink afterward and enjoyed the staff.
