Club Med Sandpiper Bay - The Par 3 Golf Course

This was my 2nd time at Sandpiper Bay. The above rating should be seen in view of the fact that (1) the course was quite wet from recent rains and (2) we had to follow the 90 degree cart rule. #1 meant the lies were usually in muddy or wet areas plus the greens were "slow" and #2 meant that the pace of play was slowed. Otherwise the course would play a lot better under normal conditions. The fee was a great value.

I liked the course layout. I'll be back.

Course very wet in places due to a good amount of rain the previous week. In spite of the wet conditions the fairways were quite playable and the greens were rolling nice.

On Monday the 13th of Nov, we had a tee off time, we arrived we find out the crse was closed. On the 16th, we had a tee off and I asked about the condition of the course due to the weather we received, They told us the course was opened. Path only... Well at hole #1 and so on, paths were floated. to go on the fairway to reach our golf ball, you had water over our shoes most of the time and it was like this ALL the time. On the greens, we had water over our shoe soles. We were tough, after 7 holes, we decided to quit. I cannot believe a Manager
or a pro can decide to let people play on a course like that...Shame on you. I will never play this course again...

do not think course should have been open greens were like shag rugs because obviously they could not get mowers to greens it was so mushy not a very pleasant experience have been to course twice and both times range was closed not sure I will go back

A little wet from all the rain but very well maintained

Love the place! no manicure but the course was superbe! and that is all we want!

We would recommend this course! No manicure but everything was excellent! Very good value for your money ! :-) will return!

While the golf course was in good shape there is nothing special about the course. The layout is basically flat and open with a few water hazards and sand traps. If you want a straight forward course with limited design feature this is your course. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a good $10 round.
