Course in great condition
I really like the course. Not too challenging but not too easy. Greens, Tee Boxes & Fairways in excellent shape.
RAINED OUT AND OF COURSE, YOUR REVIEW SYSTEM WOULDN'T LET ME SAY THAT OR TELL YOU WE DIDN'T PLAY!
Needs a little work
Course needs a little work to get back to where it was last year. Conditions were a little disappointing
We were a twosome so the pace of play was a little slow. But overall everything was great.
Overall a very good value for the money, especially if using Golf Now Hot Deal. Course was generally dry but otherwise in good condition. We were able to play 18 in 2 hours and 55 minutes.
It was a great time . . . not too many out there . . . a group almost caught us by the 18th hole, but really we played at our own pace and finished in barely over 3 hours.
I know there are some there that complain about the speed of the greens, but we love them. We had three birdie chip-ins today!
One of the greatest things about this course is their greens. I know some would prefer slower, but our group of 10+ MUCH prefers the faster greens. I've never heard anyone in our group complain about the speed of the putts. Actually that's what makes it the challenge that it is. However, a few times we've played and the pin placements were really bad. The 12th green is plenty hard enough without putting it on the edge of the downslope!! Traps and bunkers could use some love too.
Course is overplayed. No grass in the fairways, like playing on -hardpan. Greens are
Ightning fast and crowned. Hard to hold a chip. Course is basically unfair.
Good challenging course
I tell people if you shoot a decent round at Seminole Lakes you can play anywhere. Good fast greens and over all course is in good shape right now. Front 9 has good par 3's along with 2 good par 4's. Back 9 is good layout. You will use almost every club in your bag on this course.
What Tee Time?
Really weird paper tee ticket to show the starter since the starter has a list of who goes off when. Then the starter had to punch it. Why who knows. Worse we got off the tee 15 minutes late. Starter let a single play ahead of us when the group ahead of them was a 3some. What is it with Florida courses? There is no interest in monitoring the pace of play. Once the starter sends you off its bye bye. Round took 4 Hr. 20 Minutes for basically a par 3 course. Should have taken 3Hr. 30 Minutes max.
The course conditions average at best. Greens are FAST and tough to hold.
Enjoy playing the course, but it was a little challenging today because the temperature got colder as we played.
We had one guy who didn't have a coat because it was 73 when we started and dropped as we went into the morning it dropped down to the low 60's.
Sand traps could use some work they were hard-packed and you just had to play a chip shot rather than your normal sand shot swing.
Fairways are very thin
Tees are average
Greens are like putting on a plate,
Most greens have some crowns
Some of the best courses in the world lose their bite in great weather. That was the case with us this week and the wind really played havoc when you were going into the wind. We had a great time though, and we will certainly be back.
Lightening fast greens
This is a good course to play to practice your short game. There are a lot of undulating greens which made it difficult to stick the ball. It was good practice for your short game. Lots of water made the course challenging - especially in today’s wind. I recommend it!
The more I play this course the more I like it. Don't let your ego get the best of you! This course will bite you if you do. Some really tough par 3's and 4's. We were fortunate and scrambled well with a minimum of water balls. We play "best ball", and it's still tough to come out ahead.
