Summerfield Crossings Golf Club
About
Summerfield Crossings Golf Club is a fun Scottish links style championship golf course designed by Ronald Garl. There are many moguls and palm trees that come into play throughout the course. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has wide, gently rolling fairways, but do not underestimate the challenge. You must keep the ball on target thanks to pot bunkers, waste areas and small, undulating greens. The signature hole is No. 6, a 171-yard, par 3 that calls for a carry over water to a small peninsula green. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has a wide, gently rolling fairways.

Good course
Course is very nice. Has a great layout and is very playable. Tee boxes are in excellent condition and greens aren’t bad either , a bit fast but nice with a lot of slopes.
I don’t think it’s worth $60-80 bucks that’s normal price but I got a great discount through golf now and was more than worth it.
Driving range is being worked on and I’m sure will be very nice when it’s completed.
Overall I was very pleased with the course condition it’s been awhile since I’ve played there but had a great round. I will be back when I can get another deal.
Course cancelled our tee-time the night before.
The night before we were going to play this course on Saturday morning, we received an e-mail. The e-mail stated that they were unable to accommodate our reservations due to an outing that grew larger than expected. That is not our problem and to cancel the night before means its next to impossible to find another course for Saturday morning at this time. I recommend that even if you want to play this course that you not play out of principle for what they could do to you.
Nice Setup
The course is beautiful and fun to play with a great mixture of par 3's 4's and 5's and very scenic
We arrived about an hour and a half before our tee time, asked the girl at proshop if we could go early. She said no tee sheet is completely booked. I went to pickup cart and asked cart dude if we could go early, he said sure tee sheet open for at least 30 minutes, duh!
I asked two different employees because it was slow, on #10 we had one group in the fairway, and 3 groups waiting on the tee. Guy just gave me lip service, no one came out to speed things up. Well over 4 1/2 hours.
If they can keep things moving this a great golf course.
Excellent Course, Shabby Curb Appeal
he golf course itself is excellent. It has a bunch of interesting holes and is in very good condition. The greens are super-fast and in great shape; the tee boxes are excellent; and the fairways have plenty of grass. Pace of play was very good -- well under 4 hours for a foursome. The driving range, however, was pretty shabby and the overall curb appeal of the grounds was lacking. Cups and straws were missing from the water cooler area. Prior to our round, there were few people around to help us get to the right places. We had to look for someone to get keys for our golf carts. The restaurant had a small, reasonably priced menu with very good food. In summary, the golfing experience was excellent, but the accoutrements were lacking.
Disappointed
Course is in below average condition except for the tee boxes. Driving range is horrible! Pace of play terrible. It now costs about $74 after tax without range balls to play this course! 5 hours to play Sunday at 9:00am. No Ranger, No starter. Overpriced!!
Exspensive
It now costs $74 after tax to play this course on the weekend. The driving range is a complete disaster. The pace of play is horrible. It’s ridiculous for this course to charge the amount of money they do. I only golf here once or twice a year because of the horrible pace of play. I live 5 miles from the course but unfortunately will not be playing it anymore. Very disappointing
Slow but good
Course was in good shape. I know they are going to be doing some work on the driving range so no complaints there. Wish there was a course Marshall to tap the slow players up a bit as there was a twosome that held up the rest of the golf course. A threesome was pushing them the entire time with no relief, the twosome was on the top of the threesome and the solo was on top of the twosome with our foursome breathing down his neck. To close out 18 with a chip in birdie from the front of the green to the back pin eased the pain a bit!!!
