Windblown
In spite of brutal wind conditions, still fun day.
1st visit
Nice folks, staff was great... golf course is coming out of winter and looks promising.
No turn and halfway house is closed - apparently all the time.
Best conditions for their greens in a couple years. Still need to grow in a little since being aerated but good. There was not 50 pitch marks on the green which is the course's biggest overall issue.
They still need to fill in 30-50 bunkers that are nothing but a maintenance nightmare and slow down for the average player. A few key bunkers makes sense.
Enjoyed
Great layout. Greens had been punched but enjoyed it greatly. Finishing hole on 18 is a bit weird but had a great time. Course was in great shape.
Good conditions recovering nicely
The course was still recovering from the aeration when I played on 3/17. Winter conditions were still in effect although it appears the greening has begun and they had the fertilizer out. Should be in really nice condition in the coming weeks. Would recommend especially with a hot deal!
Great course. It’s very challenging. Not every hole is crazy but some are not forgiving at all. Got to hit quality shots. But it’s a beautiful course and greens are great
This course has great elevation changes
I just moved into the Hoschton area and had not played this course. I found the course on GolfNow and decided to give it a try. I was very impressed with the design of the course and all of the elevation changes from hole to hole. The course is pretty tight and you are rewarded for good shots in the fairway. I will play this course once we are back in season.
Great Course as always
Reunion has always been a challenging, beautiful and fun course and it was no exception yesterday. As it is the end of the winter course is not optimal condition but that doesn't mean there is any trouble.
Reunion
Overall very nice day of golf. Greens were in much better shape however my playing partner and I did fix several divots on several holes. Overall they were very puttable.
Speed of play was excellent and for winter conditions it was pretty good.
Slow pace of play
Get ready go a long round. The carts warn you about your pace of play but they didn’t have any one out there to enforce. Groups just get backed up and ended up playing 5+ hour round smh…
Good!!!
The fairways were good, the cart paths were newly paved, and the green speed was also very good.
