Second hole, par-3, 182 (blues). A challenging tee shot, yet the hole becomes tougher when you land a good distance from the pin. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/21/2023

Fourth: The number 3 index, this par-4 or 424 will test your skills from tee to cup. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/21/2023

The par-3 ninth plays 197 yards from the blues. Its green is positioned and shaped like a Redan hole, but without the right-to-left cant. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/21/2023

The twelfth is named “Double Plateau” for its green, which means that the putting surface actually has three elevations. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/21/2023

The fourteenth, a par-4 of 418 with water on the left, is named “Plead,” and you may well find yourself begging it for mercy before putting out. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/21/2023

18th, par-4, 458: You’ll need to commit to your full swing (twice) to play a hole tagged with the name “Trust In.” Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/13/2021

16th: The short par-3 of 170 lives up to its moniker: “Fortress.” It’s green complex is built like one. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/13/2021

An earlier, summertime picture taken of the first hole, called “Road Out,” gives a glimpse of a green sided by a road (behind) and a pesky pot bunker. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/13/2021

The sixth–a.k.a. the “Red Oaks”--is index 13, but will still present a few problems enroute to a drive-and-pitch par. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/13/2021

“Timberlake” is hole seven, and the hole is all about avoiding the trees and playing some tricky angles from tee to green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/13/2021

Nice Course, Wet morning, good pace of play, won't come back though
I booked this round last minute to get a morning tee time on a Sunday with a friend. This course was equal distance between us. We've played here before and like the course, knew it was challenging with the slopes in the fairways and greens. Wet conditions this weekend in the morning. We played with two local golfers which was really nice, they helped with distances on shots and what to hit off the tee. We finished in 4 hrs 15 minutes, which the local golfer said was about right.
Our issue with the course is the staff member who came out every few holes kept telling us to push our pace. After the first time around the 4th hole we got the message and sped up. Still didn't see group ahead which I think was a twosome. The same staffer came around again a few holes later, same message. Oh it was also cart path only which didn't matter I guess. A few holes later, same staffer came around again. I ignored him and went about my round. Saw him again two more times, finally on the 18th tee box as I am swinging my driver, here he comes down the cart path. Sliced my drive into the trees to the right. This coming after my last 2 drives over 250y in the middle of the fairway. Mentioned it to him, and he said blame it on me, hit another ball. That's not the point kid. Sorry not coming back here again. Play here if you want to, maybe you will have a different experience. The local guy and I agree this course has lost something recently.
SLOWWWWWWWW
I read a review about pace of play and boy was it good n the money ….This must be a 55 and over community because all I saw was elderly people . The threesome infront of me was playing their own balls then it looked like a beat ball and no marshalls …. Will not be going back ….
Tee boxes and greens are in rough shape
Likely not the fault of the course/staff, but the greens and tee boxes were a wreck on most holes. I’ve played a good amount of public courses and I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many pitch marks not being fixed. Tee boxes were standard for what you get on most public tracks.
Pace of play was surprisingly good. It’s a challenging course and does have a fun layout. That said, below average golfers will get eaten alive which generally kills PoP…wasn’t the case today.
All in all I like the course and find it challenging but for $100, I was expecting a much better experience.
It was ok, but pace of play was awful..
51/2 hour round. A lot of sitting and waiting. 2 of our 4 quit after 9. No rangers. Course was OK. Some tee boxes in bad shape.
Nice course
This course was nice, but not worth $90 18 with a cart. The greens were in great condition but the tee boxes were subpar.
Course is good for average to above average golfer
Skinny fairways for the most part. Quite a good course to play, have enjoyed it every time. Some holes can be very challenging for average golfer. And biggest complaint, could not get something to eat at turn. The 9th hole does not let out at the club house and we were starving by the time we got off 18. Forgot about that and will remember if I play here again; otherwise nice course.
Slow round
Nice and challenging course but always slow pace of play. Tee boxes not in very good shape and lots of ball marks on the greens for so early in the season
Great course with great conditions
This course was a great value with a rambling layout. Conditions were the best I’ve played all year with consistent fairways and greens. I’d play again any time and definitely recommend to all players
Not worth the price!!!
Oxford green golf course used to be affordable to play on weekends. Now with new management, the prices is ridiculous to golf! It would be worth it if this conditions was the same as Centennial. The course conditions here at Oxford was bad and the pace of play was so slow. I still can't process in my head why they're charging over $90 for this conditions. This course was my favorite course to play. I love the layout and the challenge it present to us intermediate golfer. Too bad we will never golf here again. Please save your money and use it to play somewhere for 2 rounds for that price!
Ctgolfer
Pace of play was sort of slow. Largely due to it being cart path only. Price was pretty good for a Friday morning tee time.
Aerated Greens
We found it absolutely ridiculous that they were charging $95, which I believe is their summer season rate, with aerated greens. I understand that it has to be done. At least they should offer a discounted rate or at least let the public know that the greens were recently aerated. Everything else was fine. We waited on almost every shot on the front but only saw the group in back of us once through out the whole round.
