A private course that would never get old

I loved this course, I went into it with an open mind but I had high hopes given its a TPC track. I really enjoyed everything about TPC Scottsdale and although its a totally different course, the TPC feeling, service, and atmosphere was top notch. TPC Twin Cities followed suit, I loved it. Great club house, huge pro shop, nice range, and a heck of a course. There are a lot of houses so if you get nervously holes with houses lining them, get ready. They have a lot of very enjoyable holes that are gorgeous to look at, and a real challenge to play. This course is private, I was able to play here and if you get a chance, I would recommend going. This is a great course with great conditions, and it is a ton of fun. Cant wait to come play again.

Fun, Challenging Course

Ordinarily, I'm not a fan of modern suburban courses that are set in the middle of a housing development with houses bordering almost every fairway. The TPC-Twin Cities course is an exception. What's not to like about a course designed by Arnold Palmer and where the likes of Bernhard Langer, Fred Couples and Tom Lehman play in the annual 3M Championship? The course isn't easy, with a length of 7,154 from the championship tees, a rating of 75.7 and 148 slope. The white tees are set at 6,215 yards, rating of 70.8 and 141 slope. Despite the difficulty, the course is fun to play, with generous rolling fairways that are quite firm and will give your tee shot lots of roll. But be sure to stay close to the fairway or you may lose a ball or two in the native prairie grass that lines many of the fairways. You may also rinse one or two balls, as water comes into play on more than half of the holes. Even if you reach the green in regulation, par is not a given. The greens are quite large, undulating, and fast. Every par you make will give you a real sense of satisfaction, and you'll want to come back to this fun, challenging course.

Great Track

Had pretty high expectations heading into playing the course given it is a TPC course and it certainly lived up everything I thought. I would compare this course much more favorably that TPC Sawgrass (Dye's Valley Course). The course was in excellent condition with a good variety of holes. Personally was a fan of the font 9 a bit more than the back, but holes 17 & 18 are 2 great finishing holes (par 3 and par 5). Would highly recommend and would consider a top course option in both the metro and state.
