Golf Club At Wescott Plantation - Black Robin Course
About
The Golf Club at Westcott Plantation may be owned by the city of North Charleston but it is far from being your typical municipal course. The 27-hole layout is divided into three nines: Black Robin, Burn Kills, and Oak Forest. They each take their name from the plantation's long history, it's one of the oldest in the area. Care was taken to preserve the centuries-old live oaks and pristine wetlands that are scattered throughout the entire course. Black Robin is the tightest of the three nines with small greens that make it the most challenging as well. Every hole is framed by lush vegetation and various streams, ponds, and wetlands come into play throughout the course. The golf course ends with a welcome chance for a birdie in case you didn't fare too well on the tougher preceding holes.

Great Course for Money but 5 hour round.
No ranger, pace of play was absurd. Tee’d off at 1:22PM… finished hole 17 at 5:49 and skipped 18… was getting dark and figured I’d try and keep it under 5 hours… barely. Prob won’t return. For 27 holes to work with you’d think they’d keep it close to 4 hours.
Double Charged
Was charged for the tee time through golf now, got to the course and was charged for all members golfing. Would like a staff member to follow up on the charges.
Too Wet
Nice course layout. Played Oak and Robin. Just way too wet. Ball would stop immediately upon impact. Zero bounce or roll due to conditions.
It’s wescott
Sprayed painted greens that’s aren’t grass sometimes but it was decent but they are getting a little to over priced for the value
Good value
Greta value for the quality of the course. Greens in good shape. Course fun and enjoyable.
Super bang for your buck
Was a treat compared to the course we played the previous day for twice the money. Loved it
Always a Great Time
Wescott never disappoints and I always make it a point ti play there on my annual trip to Summerville to visit friends. The course is in great shape. Played Burn and Black Robin. Welcoming fairways, strategically placed bunkers and challenging greens. The greens were recently aerated, so putting is tricky for now. Highly recommend the course..
Needs tlc
Selling range balls for mats no good. Bunkers hasn’t been raked since the civil war
