Good but could be better
All holes are about 50 yards. Which is a shot that you rarely encounter on a regular length course making it tricky. Holes offer little challenge. Biggest complaint is lack of mowing. Grass was very long in all areas including greens making the ball difficult to putt. Would recommend if mowed and there was more challenge that required shot shaping.
Tons of fun. Not a serious course.
Fantastic pitching and chipping course. Not like a real course. 50-80yard holes. Tons of fun but not meant for serious golfers. Fairways like rough, greens like fairways, but great deals, friendly staff and an overall friendly environment!
Remove from Golf now. Misleading golfers.
Novelty wedge chipping “course” without fairways and very tall rough, greens play like fairways. This place should not be considered a “golf course.” Fun place for company party or bachelor party if the grass was mowed.
Bad
The holes are spaced 60-80 yards apart. Photos are not at all what the holes look like. Almost all the grass is dead (Tee Box and Greens) greens are extremely shaggy
Eagle Lansing golf course
My. Husband wanted to try a new course. We were very disappointed. The setting is pretty but the course is very poorly maintained. Some greens are not even green but overgrown burned grass. We will not be back.
Pitch & putt
Good for pitch & putt. Very short fairways that had tall grass & lots of clippings. Greens pretty rough.
Staff super nice.
good course to work on your short game
My wife picked out this course (I believe it was based on price and nothing else) to play. I was hoping for something with more yardage so I could try out my new driver. I do not believe we played any hole with yardage over 90 yards. So I got in alot of practice with my wedge.
When we checked in, the lady at the desk started explaining how the grounds team was working on the course and we could not play all the holes, so she would give us a discount. Since we had prepaid, we received 2 passes for a round of golf. The greens were covered in sand and not yet watered to complete the aeration. That made puts a little tougher then they should have been. There were piles of grass from the lawn mower, that were not picked up yet. So I think we both lost a ball or 2 in the piles of grass. It was a little disappointing to see the course not quit ready for play. But we were there for a date while the kids where in school, so it was ok.
They are in the middle of doing some upgrades. A new restaurant. Looked like the outdoor firepit area was getting some work. A new pro shop is in the works. They are spending some money to upgrade and add amenities. I am looking forward to going back and playing another round.
Very short holes
Very short holes. All the greens are pretty much sand right now.
