Great views of mountains
Over all not a bad course nice greens a lot of water on front nine fairways need a little help on some holes but would play again
NICE VIEWS OF THE KOOLAU MOUNTAINS
Fun challenging course. They need to work on their bunkers, some are hard pan others ok, but not great. Enjoyed the round with my buddies and since the course is under new owners hopefully they will improve it.
It was fun!
There were many cute kids are standing by for twilight. They look so cute, but they are really good players. So amazing. We started 1:30pm and really no bobody ahead of us. It was very pleasant day and we enjoyed. It was really reasonable price through GOLFNOW. It was great!
haaaaaaaaaaaàaaaaaaa noooooooooo
Its my first time visit
The course starts just beside range which mean u can find too much golf balls on the 1st hole.
course condition entiry bad . You can not find grass over the course but u can find mud and soil there.
but the greens are good enough and even it so fast.
windward golf rain coat required
Fairway needs improvement greens is good pace of play is good beautiful scenery somewhat challenging good course for the mid too low handicapped
Good course
The course was not that busy, and pace of play was quick. There was a 5-some in front of us (2-some) and we finished under 4 hours.
Course in bad shape
People friendly but course needs a lot of improvement. Greens are fine.
One hole changed from 4 to 3 par.
Needs lots of tender loving care.....
This place was in very poor condition; especially considering a $100 rate.....! Very dried out fairways. Greens were OK, and fairway staff were very nice/accommodating, but the track needs some water and fertilizer!! I'd look elsewhere...there are plenty of options!
Not worth it.
Green fees have been raised since Pacific Links purchased the course although the course is basically the same with muddy terrible fairway conditions especially on the front 9. Cosmetic improvements to the snack bar (a new roof), landscaping near the clubhouse, and new seats at the driving range seems to be the reasons for raising the fees. Greens are ok but some of the bunkers have virtually no sand and is as hard as cement. Number 14 is now a temporary par 3 instead of a normal par 4 although no mention of this was made when we purchased the green fees. Pace of play was also extremely slow although a marshall was spotted driving around several times but making no effort to speed up slow players. Although we got a discounted rate on golfnow.com, it was not worth it. Olomana used to be a fun reasonably priced track for the locals but is now no longer affordable nor worth it.
Olomana ok
Pleasant course. Would play again. A bit over priced
Sad
The course needs a lot of work. While the greens were fine the fairways were not. Hard pan, bare spots and weeds. There were areas that were muddy even though there had not been rain recently. Looked like they were redoing the fairway on one of the par fours as it was closed and played as a par 3. All in all not an enjoyable round and definitely not worth the money.
Hole 14 Under Repairs
Hole 14 under repairs so fairway and green bunker not playable. Hole changed from par 4 to par 3 but there are no signs indicating where the par 3 tees are and it is way to the right so most golfers don't see it until they drive up to the green.
Better places to play for the money
for the amount we paid for this course, it was in terrible condition. There wasn't one hole where I was hitting off compact dirt (and this dirt was located in the middle of the fairway and around the greens). Not coming back for this price.
Use to be fun, not anymore...
Besides the change of the cost of green fees, the course use to be in better shape...don't know if they are trying to improve it but the conditions are terrible especially for the buck. The course itself iis fun but every since the change of hand these past few years has been a downer...Other nicer golf courses with better deals than Olomana...
more interesting as you go
recently aerated greens that held and rolled true. played when it was hot and dry but suspect it could be mud hole in wet weather. front nine is relatively flat and the back nine is in the hills. a very enjoyable round. food and service were excellent at Larry's.
not too bad
The course fairways and rough areas were in terrible condition. The maintenance of the course is poor, but the greens were in great condition. This seems to be the only area they really upkeep. No drinking water on the course. I definitely won't pay over $25 to play this course.
Great green
Fairways are open, course guide was helpful to play correct shot. Hole 14 fairway under repair
Enjoyable layout
Plenty of room if you miss the fairways; the rough isn't too punishing. Tees and greens in very good shape. A nice layout with good views and some character, fun for the intermediate golfer but maybe a bit unchallenging for low handicappers.
Not worth the Money
The people were nice, but the course was in poor shape for the cost. I played a resort course 2 days prior that was cheaper and in Great Shape. If i am paying $100 to play i expect a nice course even in Hawaii
Great Value w/Golf Now
Course is not recommended for non residents if have to pay the non resident rate, unless got Golf Now discounted tee time. I am a resident of Hawaii and do not play Olomana (been over two years) unless I can find discounted green fees. Course is old but well manicured. Grounds keepers are doing their best.
