Stunning..stunning ..stunning...... rarely do you exit a course in awe of what you just played....the Faldo course was one of those tracks, it is a very testing course, perfectly placed traps, interesting doglegs and super tough greens. There was not a flat green anywhere to be seen All 8 of us voted to return for next years tour......
so many changes in elevation, you really need to play a number of times just to learn where to put the ball for your next shot / green approach.
One to return to....
This is a real challenge: you're constantly being asked questions re course management and technique by the designer. The first 9 is spectacular with some great views and great holes; the back 9 is hillier. In superb condition, both fairways and greens: a classy set-up and a snip at winter prices.
