Golf Advisor: Top 25 Most Improved U.S. Golf Courses (2022 #1)
Reviews
Course is ragged
The fairways have very little grass and the greens have fungus in a lot of spots on every green and they are bumpy and not true for putting. I was told at the pro shop that the course has been up for sale for a few years, so it appears that the owner(s) do not have the revenue to proper maintain the tract. We were looking at a house to purchase on the course, but after playing the course for the first time, I do not want to live on this course because of the poor conditions. I think at one time is might have been pristine, but lack of attention to grow fairways and address the issues on the greens has put this course in very poor shape.
Typical Florida course
A nice layout but not very well-maintained but it is winter. And they’re trying to sell the course
sebring country club
Really good value for the money, fairways are a little ruff but greens not to bad, enjoy seeing deer on course.
Terrible
Terrible shape but playable great lay out as of tomorrow it has been sold the new owner takes over so hopefully he puts some money in it and make it a course that players will want to come back
Typical Florida course
A fun course to play but not that good of condition
Goat Ranch
No grass Lots of weeds. Green loaded with weeds and crab grass. And traps are a mess. People who run this golf course don’t believe in maintenance.
wow!!! really bad. should just go to some farmers field and plant some flags, couldnt tell the difference.
Great layout
Great layout, but very rough fairways. Nice people but with Covid should allow 1 cart per person.
Lots of ants
Too many ants. Greens are very slow and in poor shape. Course needs a lot of work. The staff is very friendly. I’ve place here many times but this is the worst I’ve seen it.
Half a cource
The back nine was closed . The rough was 8 inches everywhere. The green were damaged.. I'm sorry but it wasnt fun.
ST. AUGAUSTINE FAIRWAYS?
18 dollars for a reason. Tee boxs are weeds, no saving them. Fairways are covered in weeds and st. Augistine grass. (Never heard of bent grass, really.) Greens are poor. First 5 or six holes were so wet i though the cart was going to get stuck. Save your money, go down to the local park with you lawn mower, drop it to the lowest setting. Cut out a green and have fun. Traps were full of weeds. Only.positive is the layout. Hire a farmer(greens keeper), plant the right kind of grass. Rebuild the tee boxes and fix the greens, you would have a very nice course
