course has a nice layout and fun to play. They have a problem with moles on back nine but seem to be working on.
Golf ediquite.
Played front nine in1.5 hrs. Got to the back nine they let two groups tee off in front of us. Took 2.5 hrs to play the back nine. Wasn’t very happy. Pro shop did nothing.
Rough around the edges
Decent layout for the course. Just needs a little more maintenance. Edges of rough, bunkers, greens and tee boxes are all a little under maintenanced. A little more money put into this course and it could look great. Loved playing it, will be back again I’m sure and recommend to anyone just looking to get out and enjoy the game.
Not a Country Club
This isn’t a country club and really not much of a golf course. The back 9 was like an old cow pasture. There must have been at lease 50 fire ant hills on every hole on the back 9. I wouldn’t play this course again or recommend anyone to plat there.
tuesday outing
THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE . THE COURSE WAS IN GREAT CONDITION. THE GREENS WERE GOOD AND THE SPEED WAS GOOD ON THEM. THERE IS WILD ANIMALS OUT THERE WE SAW DEER TRACKS IN THE SAND TRAP. WE HAD A GREAT TIME CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK.
Great course
Course is very open... Greens and tee boxes in great shape
Weedy tee boxes and fairways
The greens were nice but the tee boxes and fairways need weed killer, also lots of fire ants in fairways. Even with all that we had a good time as pace of play was excellent and greens were nice
Fun Day
From Rick in the clubhouse golf round and drinks afterwards a great time and good value.
Have booked to go back.
Course is improving
It is a challenging yet fun course for all levels of play if you haven't been on site since July the green are all covered and good play condition as are fairways roughs mowed downed sand add yo all bunker side traps along with a great new restaurant which serves great lunch and dinners from prime rib to lobster to burgers check it out you won't be disappointed
Greens were great. Tee boxes and fairways were in poor condition..................
Tough layout
Greens on back wasn't that good. Speed was average. The layout is tough. You got to think when playing this course. Fairways was hit and miss.
Very dry, greens need work
The course layout is awesome one of my favorites. Back greens need work, not worth the money we paid

I have played both Placid lakes country club and Country club of Sebeing numerous times and would rate them both the same. I see Golfnow reveiws show Country club of Sebring being rated a half a star less. Prices are about the same and all. I think they are both good value for the money.
Stay away
Played on a golf package that is why I entered $0.00 for price. Stay away. Not sure what course some of the other reviewers were playing, but it sure wasn't like what we played. The greens were the worst we have played on, and some we just took two putts. The back nine is really dry, and not much grass on the fairways. For $20.00 we could have had a replay, but we didn't even think it was worth that. We will take this off our list of places to play, unless something tells us different. This is an honest review, wish I could say something good, but it even took us over an hour to get served lunch. Just an overall disappointing day.
Greens need work
Nice course but greens need work. Black spots and different grasses in several greens.
