Under construction
We got there and the course and clubhouse are all under construction. This course needs to be taken off the list so golfers don’t waste time and money on a place that cannot play. Best guess we were told is next fall before this course is open, which we took to mean fall 2024.
Nice little course .
First time laying here . We are seniors . Liked the executive course style .will come back .
Not in good shape and cougar course is only 9 holes. From tee box to green in bad shape. Not worth playing
So disappointed
Course was in terrible shape..they had 2 greens that were closed and not playable and so wet it was unreal...search a mess and way to expensive
Paid way to much for this course!
When I booked this round of golf through Tee-time I thought we would be playing the cougar course, when we checked in we were told that we were playing the front on Cougar then the front on Panther!
The greens on either side were in horrible shape and the fairways weren’t much better!
I paid $75.00 for 2 rounds with a cart to play on a course that they should be raising goats on!
After we played the front a Cougar and went to the front 9 on Panther our GPS units were worthless due to the fact they rearranged several of the holes!
I will not be playing this course again, even if they gave me free rounds of golf!
Too much money spent on the “12” and nothing spent on the rest of the “golf resort “ as they call it!
1st time playing this course
Was very nice from the time I dropped bags at the bag drop. Staff in the pro shop took time and treated me like more than a number. Course was well worth the money, fairways are green. The greens had a few brown spots but rolled very good. The panther nine has a par 6 which is something kind of unique.
Good Value for your Money
First time playing here. It was somewhat confusing to hind the place as they have changed the name from Spring Lake to Sebring International and the signage has not been updated, this should be mentioned on their website.
The course was in good shape, fairways were better than the greens, although not many flat spots as they are full of ups and downs, adds to the challenge. Greens were hard and fast.
Layout was somewhat confusing ( we played Couger and Panther) as the course is divided into three nines. There is no course layout on the scorecards nor is there one for the players at the Pro Shop therefore first time players have to guess where to go and where to play your ball (lost three balls by playing the hole wrong)
Pro staff was accommodating with one small exception. We were told at checkin to play Couger and after finishing to come in and they would assign us the second nine at that time. When we did that the staff seemed flustered or confused as to where to put us and mentioned that "Online Bookings" screwed up their system. We as customers don't need to hear that no do we care! Poor customer relations.
One of the only courses in the Sebring area to have a grass similar to ours up north where it’s high enough that the ball actually sits up off the ground.
Mass confusion, no rules .
No PGA rules followed had to follow. Group of 12,,,,would NOT allow faster players to play through, said course management allowed it. When contracting course management, they blamed on Golfnow... Asked for a rain check because time would not allow me to finish. Was told to contact golf now. No rules apply...PGE,,,USGA Rules out the window...needs better course management,,,would issue a rain check.... Waited every hole
Great pace of play
This was a great day of golf. Started on putting green and golf balls were rolling great. Then I purchased a bag of practice balls for only a $1, just enough balls to warm up. I was paired up with 2 other golfers and we teed off on time. The course was in very good condition and the greens rolled out very true. I made some great putts. The pace of play was fantastic as we played 18 holes in 3 hours. I plan on playing this course again soon. While on the 10th green I saw 2 Eagles almost collide diving for the same fish. The fish still lives as both Eagles pulled up just in time to avoid the collision. All around a great day of golf.
better other coures
if you are a good golfer a lot of other courses in the area will suit your needs better.one green was terrorble several others were fair. 32.00 to play????
Good Value
800 yard par 6 was a unique and challenging experience that you don't see every day. We were booked on the cougar but staff recommended changing to the Panther due to pace of play expectations. we finished under 4 hours for a threesome, with little waiting.
