Shows It's Age
A friend and I were considering staying at the facility for a four day golfing trip, but thought it best to play a round before committing to four days. Glad we did, there nothing bad about the course but it lacks any reason to stay here for any extended time. Lack of money is apparent, many dead palm trees, broken directional signs, no ice or drinks until after 11:00 AM. If I lived very close I might play it again, but only might.
Similar to Bartow Golf Course
Cougar Trail course. 1:00pm tee time w/ 3 golf buddies. Short, fun course. Similar to Bartow Golf Course but in better condition. Only 5900 from tips. Layout is chopped up @ some points. Because of this, has a couple of unique holes. Not as wide as Panther Creek course but has wide tee shot landing areas. Some water on 1 side of certain holes. Tee boxes in fair shape. Lots of weeds but playable. Fairways plush. Greens elevated & small to medium sized rolling mid to fast & true. Needs distance markers on Par 3 tee boxes. Gas powered carts w/ windshield but no rain cover in back & no sand to fill in divots. I can tell that this course gets marshy during rainy season. Still a little mushy in some areas. All in all a fun course to play
