Seminole Lake Country Club
About
Seminole Lake Country Club offers a landscape that is lush with native Florida vegetation and wildlife, including a family of American Bald Eagles that have made the golf course home. Formerly known as Cunningham Point, the club has been around since the 1930s. Scenic views of Long Bayou complement the enjoyable round of classic Florida golf. The course is challenging but playable with sand and water hazards coming into play on nearly every hole. The versatile golf course has been host to legends like Arnold Palmer but with five sets of tees it is approachable for a wide range of skill levels. In addition to the golf course, Seminole Lake is equipped with a driving range, short game practice area with a bunker, and two putting greens.

Review
Playing conditions were good. Greens were a bit bumpy but being newly redone this past year they rolled well. Course layout is pretty typical for FL but good. No funky holes. A good array of tee boxes so it can be a challenge for longer hitters as well. All in all a good value and I would come back again.
Great experience
My wife and I have a tradition of playing on Thanksgiving day. This course was perfect for that. We were met in the parking lot with our cart by an enthusiastic guy who told us the greens were recently redone (and they were great). Bartender who was super busy preparing Thanksgiving dinner made us two strong drinks and we were off. The foursome on the first tee saw that it was just me and my wife and offered us to play thru. We finally hooked up with another couple in front of us and they were lovely. Finished in 4 hours. Gobble gobble.
Pleasant surprise
Haven’t played in years. Course improvements are great. Nice fast greens, nice fairways and good bunkers. Great staff. Well done! . Look forward to playing again!
Seminole Lake CC
It was our first time playing Seminole Lake and we were glad we did! The course was in great shape and we enjoyed our time. We look forward to playing again soon.
Enjoyed the golf course
The young man behind the counter wasn’t friendly, but everyone else from starter to ranger and cart lady were exceptionally nice. Course was great. Greens being new were very hard and covered with a dusting of sand. Very nice layout and fairways were in great shape.
Excellent Condition
First time to play since the new greens opened. Outstanding. They extended hole 13 to a short Par 5, making that 3 Par 5s in a row (holes 12, 13, 14) and I loved the challenge. Love this course!
Greens need work
The course was in good shape except the greens have been recently replaced. They were very hard and fast. They also did not roll straight since the grass was very new. Should be fine with time but right now not so good for putting. Very scenic course.
Nice Course
T-Boxes were in relatively good shape. Some bare spots, but good shape. Fairways are well defined and in good shape. Putting greens are growing in nicely. The new grass plays a little slower, but not a distraction. Nice Course.
Seminole Lake CC
Generally the course was in in great shape despite the greens that were recently re-done Very nice golf course and I enjoyed playing it.
Good find!
Was looking for a decent course around St. Pete Beach area and landed on Seminole Lakes. Read about new greens and was accurate. They'll be really good after a few more months but overall were good. They were very firm but putted pretty good... okay downhill and slow uphill. Only played 9 but the layout was challenging and course condition was better than I thought it would be. Definitely worth a trip.
Great Course - Played well in wet conditions
Played the course after a thunderstorm and down pour. Only us and one other group out. Pace of play was great, teed off at 2pm and got round no bother.
The course was very wet, carts following 90 degree rule, but held up well to play. New greens are very good if a little slow, but understandable, lucky play on them.
An enjoyable round and yes we'd all be very happy to play again.
PS. The s1un was out to dry us out for the back nine
