Seminole Lake Country Club
About
Seminole Lake Country Club offers a landscape that is lush with native Florida vegetation and wildlife, including a family of American Bald Eagles that have made the golf course home. Formerly known as Cunningham Point, the club has been around since the 1930s. Scenic views of Long Bayou complement the enjoyable round of classic Florida golf. The course is challenging but playable with sand and water hazards coming into play on nearly every hole. The versatile golf course has been host to legends like Arnold Palmer but with five sets of tees it is approachable for a wide range of skill levels. In addition to the golf course, Seminole Lake is equipped with a driving range, short game practice area with a bunker, and two putting greens.

Enjoyed the golf course
The young man behind the counter wasn’t friendly, but everyone else from starter to ranger and cart lady were exceptionally nice. Course was great. Greens being new were very hard and covered with a dusting of sand. Very nice layout and fairways were in great shape.
Excellent Condition
First time to play since the new greens opened. Outstanding. They extended hole 13 to a short Par 5, making that 3 Par 5s in a row (holes 12, 13, 14) and I loved the challenge. Love this course!
Greens need work
The course was in good shape except the greens have been recently replaced. They were very hard and fast. They also did not roll straight since the grass was very new. Should be fine with time but right now not so good for putting. Very scenic course.
Nice Course
T-Boxes were in relatively good shape. Some bare spots, but good shape. Fairways are well defined and in good shape. Putting greens are growing in nicely. The new grass plays a little slower, but not a distraction. Nice Course.
Seminole Lake CC
Generally the course was in in great shape despite the greens that were recently re-done Very nice golf course and I enjoyed playing it.
Good find!
Was looking for a decent course around St. Pete Beach area and landed on Seminole Lakes. Read about new greens and was accurate. They'll be really good after a few more months but overall were good. They were very firm but putted pretty good... okay downhill and slow uphill. Only played 9 but the layout was challenging and course condition was better than I thought it would be. Definitely worth a trip.
Great Course - Played well in wet conditions
Played the course after a thunderstorm and down pour. Only us and one other group out. Pace of play was great, teed off at 2pm and got round no bother.
The course was very wet, carts following 90 degree rule, but held up well to play. New greens are very good if a little slow, but understandable, lucky play on them.
An enjoyable round and yes we'd all be very happy to play again.
PS. The s1un was out to dry us out for the back nine
AMAZING Condition!
I played Seminole Lake CC on Tuesday 10/10/2023, porpoisefully waiting until the new greens were available.
All I can say is HOLY ENCHILADA! I’ve been playing a lot here locally. The best course condition I’ve seen locally of late is Fox Hollow, which didn’t surprise me. Seminole Lake was in at least as good as condition, if not better than Fox Hollow recently & Lake Jovita North course a couple of months ago.
I should start with the new greens. They rolled amazingly! Even made me look like a good putter on more than one occasion, not an easy feat. There was a little sand, and a couple of not perfect patches, but they were 90% perfect and rolled so true!
The fairways were as lush and green as any I’ve played recently, period. Just perfect grass in the fairways, and plenty of it (no bare spots), on every fairway. I, unfortunately, had plenty of shots out of their bunkers as well, which were deep with soft loose sand. Hitting out of the bunkers is just awful in general, and anyone that says differently is just lying. But if I have to hit out of the bunkers I want them to be like these fluffy beaches.
I really wish all courses were in as good a condition as Seminole Lake CC was on 10/10.
