Seminole Lake Country Club
About
Seminole Lake Country Club offers a landscape that is lush with native Florida vegetation and wildlife, including a family of American Bald Eagles that have made the golf course home. Formerly known as Cunningham Point, the club has been around since the 1930s. Scenic views of Long Bayou complement the enjoyable round of classic Florida golf. The course is challenging but playable with sand and water hazards coming into play on nearly every hole. The versatile golf course has been host to legends like Arnold Palmer but with five sets of tees it is approachable for a wide range of skill levels. In addition to the golf course, Seminole Lake is equipped with a driving range, short game practice area with a bunker, and two putting greens.

AMAZING Condition!
I played Seminole Lake CC on Tuesday 10/10/2023, porpoisefully waiting until the new greens were available.
All I can say is HOLY ENCHILADA! I’ve been playing a lot here locally. The best course condition I’ve seen locally of late is Fox Hollow, which didn’t surprise me. Seminole Lake was in at least as good as condition, if not better than Fox Hollow recently & Lake Jovita North course a couple of months ago.
I should start with the new greens. They rolled amazingly! Even made me look like a good putter on more than one occasion, not an easy feat. There was a little sand, and a couple of not perfect patches, but they were 90% perfect and rolled so true!
The fairways were as lush and green as any I’ve played recently, period. Just perfect grass in the fairways, and plenty of it (no bare spots), on every fairway. I, unfortunately, had plenty of shots out of their bunkers as well, which were deep with soft loose sand. Hitting out of the bunkers is just awful in general, and anyone that says differently is just lying. But if I have to hit out of the bunkers I want them to be like these fluffy beaches.
I really wish all courses were in as good a condition as Seminole Lake CC was on 10/10.
Love the Layout
We played temp greens and it was a great price because this course will be perfect when the new greens start in a few weeks. What a beautiful course and the layout is my favorite in Pinellas County. Love this course and the people.
This is a very pretty course. Looks like it was through some changes on the back nine, but overall it was vey well maintained.
Rude starter
The course has temporarily greens and for temporarily greens the course was in nice shape. However upon arrival to an early tee time, I was rushed and disrespected by the rude starter at rude course. I showed up 30 minutes early bought range balls then started said he needed to to start playing now. I wasted 10 bucks on balls and when i asked the starter why i needed to start now he said mind your own business and get out there and start playing then proceeded to drive off. Mind you its 745 am. Ruined my whole round. Definitely dont recommend. Residents on the course were just as rude.
Great course, temp greens
Love this course, staff is always friendly and the layout is very fun to play. They have temp greens right now but they are done well, much better than I have seen in the past, I went one back from my normal tees because the course is running a couple hundred yards shorter due to the greens. The rest of the course is in great shape so I’m excited to see the new greens when they are ready. I went mid day on a weekday and finished my round in 2.5 hours. No bev cart because it was a slow day but they usually have one and the bar/restaurant at the clubhouse had everything I needed. Cheaper rates due to the temp greens make this course a great bang for your buck
Love the course
I actually love this course. They are currently redoing their greens, but the temporary greens are fairly nice and the rest of the course is very nice. It’s a little shorter and less challenging but for the price point, I believe it’s honestly the best round of golf you can buy at the moment near me.
Great layout
This course apparently has temporary greens for about two or three more weeks.. it is in fantastic shape and it is a great layout.. I will return
Greens under repair/closed
Great condition, looking forward to playing on regular greens!
Great value
The temporary greens are in great shape. Excellent value at this price point
