Stevinson Ranch

I played here several times after it opened and also attended a golf school here. The last time I played here was about 8 years ago and the course was in poor condition and it seemed like the place was under poor management. All I can say is...WOW, what a change! The course is in great condition and it is obvious that management has changed. They have a good range and chipping area. It will be nice when they rebuild the clubhouse, but they are getting along with temporary facilities. I'm definitely playing here again.

Its quite a journey to get there, but well worth the effort. A first class golf course. With all the challenges that any level of golfer could ask for. From sand to water carries, to unplayable areas, to left to right dog legs. Well worth a trip back just to try again.

overall course condition very good ... one exception: bunkers need sand. pace of play was excellent and staff was very helpful.

Bring your A game, keep it straight or loose a lot of balls. Savannah grass is brutal , to find or hit your ball out of. Bring a lot of balls. Challenging course and a must play. Goodluck.

Had a great time - weather was perfect. Greens are currently sanded, but rolled true. Be nice if all players would fix ball marks on greens.

Its been 20 years between rounds here. It will not that long to return. Enjoyed the round. Greens are fast but not very good condition. There are two many spots that are dying. The fairways were green and beautiful and the course is a nice challenge for all players with multiple tees to choose.

I found this course to be as nice as Yocha Dehe in terms of conditions at about half the price. It is in the middle of nowhere but worth the trip.
We were stuck behind a group that was apparently friends of the owner so the marshall wouldn't speed them up. So the round was hit wait hit wait.
That part do it was miserable. That said, the course itself was a quality golf course.

After reading reviews and course rankings, we went out of our way to play. We both wondered what all the praise was about. The course is very ordinary, set on a flat piece of farm land. We went expecting something great and found it to be a good course but nothing spectacular.

The staff were great, the price cheap but disappointed in the course.

So glad I finally drove down to Stevinson Ranch. Wish I had done so much sooner! Great layout and a fair test. Easy to walk. Will definitely play again.

For an average weekend hacker, this was a tough course. If you miss a fairway you pay a price. Beautiful course in great shape. Great value for the money. Only negative was a group of 6 that was not letting people play through so we skipped a hole to get in front of them and ended up only playing 17 holes.

Played the course while raining. The natural geological make up of the soil is blow sand. Therefore no water puddles conditions while playing in the rain. A great course.

Very well maintained golf course and great laylout with difficulty.

The greens are very slow for a course of this quality. They need to be cut and rolled.

It was a very windy day and the greens had recently been sanded. However, that did not detract from a wonderful round. Even though the wind really punished me on 3 holes (1 down wind and 2 into the wind) I enjoyed the challenge despite the damage to my score. The pro shop/clubhouse is being rebuilt after a fire so I did not have anything to eat or drink.

Course was in nice shap will be back to play need new club house.

The course was in excellent condition. I especially liked the greens they were fast and very consistent. I like the layout, but it is a little flat for my liking.

what a great place to play, had the best time, the fairways our the best I have played but you better stay on them. the greens where great not to fast and not to slow. I'm going to tell all my friends!

Great course. Very well maintained, open fairways and the greens are always in great condition.

Fog can be an issue in the early morning until 11am. Choose your tee time wisely. Great course and very affordable thanks to golf now. P. S. Look for the stray colored balls placed around the course for prizes.

Course was in good shape....Pace of play was excellent.
